sftravis, maybe you can answer this. On pointstreak, it shows Redmond and Sexton both being #8. Is Redmond not coming back? Or is he changing numbers and pointstreak doesn't know it? Usually if two players have the same number, one isn't coming back. Ex. Trevor Bruess and Jason Gregoire are both #17 for Lincoln and Bruess is going to MSU. |

Have not heard a thing. Hopefully both of them will be here. |

I watched practice the other day and Redmond was there. I don't know what Sexton looks like and they don't wear numbers/names on the practice jerseys. I have not heard anything about him leaving though. |

Redmon is listed as #7 on their site. This looks to be this year's roster. Stampede roster Kind of cool to see Brooks DeZellar there, he made some good plays in this year's Ted Brill Great 8 HS Hockey Festival. Its the top seniors from across the state. I think Ryan Guentzel is a new addition this year, is he not? I think he was also in the great 8, and I'm fairly certain Nick Dineen was too, but maybe that was 2 years ago. A couple of others sound familiar, but they didn't leave a mark in my mind at the tournament last year. |

thanks for getting that cleared up Yes Puckster, Guentzel is new to the team this year after a successful season at Southern Minnesota (NAHL). |

You're right, that's why I thought I might have it confused. Gabe Guentzel was last year's great 8 participant, not Ryan. |

he seems like he is a good talent, not sure why CR didn't keep him. |

The Stampede were horrible this weekend. It doesn't help that we played Lincoln last night. They seem like the real deal. Great team. |

Perhaps they will be the opposite of what they usually are (bad in first half, great in 2nd) and not do well in the 2nd half But a 15 goal output in 2 games is definitely great. |

Well the Stampede did blow a 2 on 0 chance against the Storm on Friday. I'm glad Kesserich came up with the stop, but the Storm defense was not the greatest at SF. I still do like the Inflata-Bull that the starters come out from, or in Fridays case the whole team. That and selling ads for the goal crease and the top of the nets in between periods shows some marketing genius. They had some decent moves, I'm sure they'll still do ok, and of course they will make the playoffs! |

It had to be pretty good if they only let SF take 14 shots

Puckster, DeZellar is no longer on the roster, as SF made a trade with CR to acquire WBL's David Grun. |

So much for a reason to go for the Stampede! Just kidding Travis and other Stampede fans. You still have a great team worth cheering for with all those MN guys. DeZellar seemed to be a great player, I hope all the former great 8'ers do well. |

That might be the problem. We have talent, but they need to work together. Every player has made a great play here and there, they just need to have a few players make the great plays at the same time. I really wanted Sat's DM game to go to a shootout. I wanted to see the puck handling/scoring skills of this team. |

Two wins in a row and 5 out of the last 6 possible points! At this rate we'll make the playoffs for sure!!! |
