Not just posting to prove a point ;) lol as had planned to but not got round to it yet ... and nobody seems to post in this section much anyway

Anyway, with the massive gap in Lions games (covered in another thread!) I decided to take in what live BB I could find and fortunately Div 1 Kent Crusaders are only an hour from me

The game was to a higher level than I expected and with most players being younger was very quick and energetic
Very close game until the last 2 minutes when Reading took the W home
Played in a university sports hall it was free admission but even that didn't attract much of a crowd - in fact there were more Reading supporters than Kent!?!

Anyway, I'll be going again when fixture lists allow - hoping to get to see Brixton Topcats this weekend (whose ladies game was streamed live last week too)

Happy Days! :wink

I've also enjoyed taking in EBL games this year specifically magic and spinners. Interesting mix of old and new at spinners with Gayle, Bernard and nick goeorge blended with up and coming players like Alex roberts. It's nice to see juniors getting gsme time at magic and the likes of Alex Roberts getting 20 minutes plus at a high level on a regular basis.

It would be great if the new format got more people attracted to the boards and got more discussion going on hte junior and EBL areas. Bigz hows div 2 this year?

Kent and Reading are at opposite ends of spectrum wage wise and Rockets should be hammering them regardless of being taken to the wire the previous night.
which side of Kent are you? Going over the crossing you've got leopards which is close to a BBL venue/experience or for something more manic there's the surreal experience of lituanica. You really should try that

Thanks Bobgoblin
Alas I'm in far East Kent (Ramsgate) so surrounded by more water than BB teams
Will take note of your recommendations though as I don't mind a little trip :)

Worthing might be an option for you. Crowds aren't as good as they were but they still decent numbers and it feels like a "proper " game
