Oooops looks like another point to Kellyms, 31 points for Sheffield in the 3rd.quarter if my Maths is corrrect.
Without knowing anything or any background or reports except the early BBL match report Sharks seemed to go small and fast but I would have thought that Jets would have been able to cope with a speedy team against them. But no doubt people at the game will give a better view of things when they get back.

Even so I've got a sneaky feeling we can finally get one over on Eagles on Sunday. :daydream :daydream

Yes that's unfortunately a point to Mike for the 3rd qtr collapse, not a lot more to say about last night's performance until I calm down a bit more.
Only highlight as far as we were concerned was Paul Peterson's 4th quarter fightback to make the score a little more respectful.

It's another point that I'd rather not have. I'd much rather see the Jets have a huge third quarter that ultimately won us the game than me being right about our sometimes lackadaisical third quarters where we let teams back into the game, or let them get further ahead.

But is there anything we can do about it?
Go Jets!!!!!!!!

?????????????????? no idea????????????

but hope he is OK for Sunday
Looking at the stats we are joining a number of other clubs in a 7 man rotation, from having a full squad or 12 with not having playing Murph, Calvin, Chez,Phil Brandreth and Cesar Avona (now I believe moved on) its as thin as the others.

On the other hand how much did we manage to win in the old days with Mike Burtons 6 man team ........Oh I remember EVERYTHING

Chez twisted his ankle in training last week - hopefully the rest will mean he's OK for tomorrow.

As far as 3rd quarter yesterday went . . . . . erm . . . .

Matched them well in 1st quarter, started to struggle a little in 2nd then went completely to pieces! Sharks got 31 past Jets with Jets only answering with 10! Frank had a nightmare of a game - actually I think he was probably asleep, so nightmare would be accurate (I know I was having one watching!) He seemed incapable of getting his feet off the ground and even under the basket could only get as far as hitting the rim. Shaun also seemed to be struggling.

As my significant better half as already stated, Paul's one-man wrecking crew kept the score (reasonably) decent(ish) with his heroics in the 4th quarter when he went on a one-man 7-0 streak, hussling and forcing Sharks to turn the ball over (then again - Sharks had put the bench on by then so the whole team should have put up some respectable baskets during this time and let left it to Paul).

During the last 5 minutes I was left praying that Sharks didn't put the 100 up - at least someone was listening to that prayer!!

To sum it up - :phew :worry2 :pullhair :cry :doh
All in all it's been a rocky road,
Twists and turns along the way,
But, I still pray for tomorrow
All my hopes, my dreams
Don't fade away...

Funnily enough - that's what I prescribed for him after the game on Friday night!! . . . . Followed by a strong enema! :bolt
