Strange game for Halloween night down at Worthing yesterday, a case of the Good the Bad and the Ugly.
I won't go too far into the technicalities of the game as there are others a lot better than myself at that.

The Good:
Any win has got to be a good thing even though it was against an obviously understrength Thunder, our ball movement seems to be improving all the time and we are really beginning to work well as a unit.
John Simpson's contribution to the came was critical, great to see Simmo getting time and producing as we all know he is capable of.
Special note for Mike Kelly:-
Beginning of 3rd, Thunder 42 Jets 48 end of third, Thunder 60 Jets 70 another Jets 3rd qtr where we haven't collapsed.

The Bad:
Frank's 9 minutes, 7 pts and 5 fouls, come on Frank you can do better than that!!

The Ugly:
Last night we had 2 of the supposedly more experienced refs in Dale Aicheson and Neil Wilkinson, to say some extremely bad decisions only touches the tip of the iceberg.
It's not surprising Shawn and Steven were getting upset and all credit to them both for managing to keep calm after some of last night's antics.

And finally:
Can't finish up with a special mention of my SBH's red Halloween wig, I'll upload the photos later!
On the trip home the DVD player on the team bus wasn't working so instead we were kept entertained by the antics of the guys and gals led by Shawn Myers. Yes Shawn I know you have photos of me asleep, but just remember that I will soon be starting work on the video for next years Jet's Jubilee ball (details to follow in the future) and I have plenty of footage of you to work with.

We have a big weekend of games coming up (Sharks Fri, followed closely by the cup 1/4 on Sunday against Eagles) so lets all get behind the guys!!

GO JETS!!!

I have to say the Officials last night gave some dire call's for both teams, In fact it's been this way for the last 3 games at Worthing, And when I saw the change in Officials last night I really though we'd get to see a good game of basketball with out the officials putting a downer on it.
Nice to see Gayle and Hamilton back in Worthing again, Hopefully the next time we play we'll be at full strength an we might even get 3 officials that wanna let us play some basketball!
