I will be at both games.

My worry for saturday would be how our inside defence will cope with Mike Martin, if we can be solid and keep him in check I would fancy our chances.

Sunday's game you would think on paper would be a good chance to get the W but this league this season and more so the Leicester Riders are going to be very unpredictable.

Yeah we'll be going to both games as well. Would hope for a good turn out at Worcester, especially if we play well Saturday night. I'm optimistic about both games although as Jukebox mentioned I am a little wary of Mike Martin. Our interior defence needs to step up a bit to try and limit him tomorrow night.

Shudn't tell you this, but Mr Offshore has seen Riders 4 times (including this weekend) & Eagles only once due to work patterns/shifts away. I'm sure he's a secret Riders supporter really :roflol2 :roflol2

Seriously though, we really do class Riders as our second team.

Will be nice to catch up with you all again.

Dear Offshores - is it because the Heat beat you last week that you are supporting Riders tomorrow... or because you don't fear them as a contender for your top spot? :wink
GO HEAT

We play TEAM ball.

I reserve the right to ignore you in a grown-up, though slightly aloof way if you are rude to me.

I think we should reward the travelling OOTA with honourary season tickets.

It's always a pleasure to see them, even tho' they sit behind the enemy's bench.

That must have been one of the best half-time team-talks ever. The difference between the first half (2nd Q in particular) and the 2nd half was unbelievable. We saw the two sides of Tack Minor as well. In the 2nd Q he was focing it a bit, taking bad shots and making bad decisions. In the 2nd half, however, he was unstoppable. Playing like that he is as good as any plaer in the league, still getting his points but involving everyone. It was a joy to watch. The biggest difference, though, was that D in the 2nd half was the best we have played all season by a mile. Especially Shaun Durant, who did a great job on the defensive end in the 2nd half. Everyone stepped up the D though, and they all deserve huge credit. If we play like we did in that 2nd half (winning it by 33 points I think) we would beat any team in the league. Lets just hope we can continue that throughout the season.

Well done to Rob and the boys. Big win.

I thought the main differnce in the third/fourth quarters was brad starting to get open.joseph beat up on him all night and it took him a while to figure out how to get in the game.during this time tack was having to do alot of work on his own, running himself into the ground for his team. The first quarter was good but in the second no one was working hard enough to get open so tack had nobody to pass to.Alot of people say he should pass the ball more(despite being the best assist man in the L),but players have to get themselfs open rather than standing waiting for him to do something.Tack was being very well guarded by there point and they ran double teams at him but he coped really well.brad got it going second half and jay was working it to, i know jay dont get talked about enough given the numbers he gets, its just hes so consistant you just expect it.we just take his double doubles for granted but other sides would love a player who could post those stats every night.Abit like tony you just expect him to come of the bench and give you something and he never lets you down and is a great contributer to our team.Looked like we are starting to gel.Best game ive seen in a while. It shows we can play defence too, when its needed(which should be all the time).just 7 bad mins in the second quarter, otherwise good performance from everyone.Looks like were making good progress, just need to keep it going.

Thought we did brilliantly in the 3rd quarter and thoroughly deserved the W. We looked stunned and lost just prior to half time but were energised and fantastic in defence when we returned. Then it was Heat's turn to look fazed and confused in offence. They were left with few options and our team played amazingly well, despite being beaten up on a regular basis. Crowd were great - Tack or Jason as MVPs.

All I want to say is that I think the JSSC Factor played a BIG part in the second half particuarly in energising the 3Q defence! :clap

And TACK was awesome. :eek

We always sit behind the away team bench at the back with your group of young supporters, cheering Riders on from there, my voice was pretty rough on the way home, but it was worth it.

Really enjoyed the game.

See you on 28th November - if not before - but unfortunately will not be supporting you guys then.

Good luck v Wolves today.

Good win and an outstanding defensive performance in the 2nd half (we just need to play like that all the time, if we do then we will be very tough to beat, no matter what team) with us attacking on the fast break down the other end- great to watch.

Tack was unstoppable again, 2nd half especially (thought it a bit harsh on him in 1st half when people were saying he should pass it as he was being hassled with double teams etc and generally he tends to find somebody open while there is still time left on the clock- you only have to look at the stats to see he is top of the assists chart. Also, other players have a job to move so that you can find them in space). Bradd started to pour them in when he broke free in the 2nd half. Jason did what he usually does- give you valuable double doubles. Shaun I thought had his best game so far after a couple of quieter performances recently and I thought LT put in a good all round performance too.

Finally, the atmosphere was right back at its best. :clap
