Internation League Pass; TNT/ESPN Games

I purchased league pass standard (not HD) for the new season. All things seems great except:

1) They are putting the scores underneath the archived games from the previous day. I dont know about anyone else, but i dont want to watch a game as much when i know the score.

2) The ESPN/TNT games which are also broadcast in HD, seem very jittery and not smooth on the standard edition. It looks to me like they have put an HD formatted game on a standard aspect ratio and playback mode. Ultimately, the games arent running smoothly. Has anyone else epxerienced the same thing?.

I have complained about both issues to Ray V Support and hope to get this rectified. Was never this problem last year.

I would not hold your breath, when League Pass went down at one point last year (i think it only affected mac users) i asked about either getting a refund for the downtime or x amount of days extension for free - as i was paying month by month. neither happened, even though RayV/NBA customer service said it would.

Just out of interest 15hoosier, can you watch multiple games at the same time, like the people using the American league pass broadband can?

yeah lost baller im thinking of getting it again, but it seems a bit overpriced at the mo, and if you compare it to what the American public get, i.e. view multiple games, live game dvr as standard its still $15 cheaper than our top package.

i've given up hoping not to be ripped off haha. it's pretty much a given... so i am just taking it at face value. I can't change what options we have so can only choose from the 3 we've got... with option 3 being nada!

Just one game at a time.
Though duiring timeouts and half-time I do tend to flick to another game (this is when watching live).

Watching delayed (archived), you just choose the point you want to watch the game from, unlike last year when you had to watch it at set times.

I've also got in touch. Normally I'll watch live but occasionally I can't so I'd rather not know!

Niall Gray, are you having similar problems to me, with non-smooth TNT/ESPN playback on the standard package?

I watched the TNT games on Tuesday (Celtics/Cavs & Lakers/Clippers) with no problems.

My problem last night was with the feeds on some of the games provided by local broadcasters. Celtics-Bobcats and Knicks-Miami were unwatchable due to jitters on picture and sound, yet other games were fine. I'm told it was due to "technical problems"...

15hoosier,

The good news is they've now hidden the scores!

I was watching the Miami game via another method and although the quality was lower than ILP SD the game was perfectly fine (I also found it in Spanish somewhere else in much higher def but I love the SunSports guys Eric and Tony so I watched the lower quality one :)) I had no problems watching it which was nice.

Great game as well to see Miami go 3-0 :D

The quality of the feeds last night was great. After watch Celtics, I caught end of Bulls-Heat. Shame Bulls could not pull out the win.

Yeah I had a bet on the Bulls too! Don't think they are going to live up to their hype this season based on early happenings.

I've noticed it is getting harder to find free to view games anywhere - justin.tv is useless now and other sites tend to have broken links or videos that just freeze. I had no problems last season using the free to view sites even if the quality was reduced, but now I think a lot of the better ones have been shut down. Even myp2p.eu is full of duff links now and that used to be great.

But with ESPN doing things properly and showing more than 1 game a week I might just stick with TV and forego the internet for now.

I'm enjoying the feeds on league pass that are classed as NBA tv games, because as soon as their scheduled game is over, if you leave the feed open, the studio guys go round different games watch the endings as they happen.

Last night was a good night of NBA action. Rasheed Wallace was awesome for Celtics against Philly, Lakers had to go to OT to beat the Thunder, Dirk had a monster game for Mavs and both Miami and Orlando lost their 100% records.

Lol. No surprise. The service is run by idiots. Anyone else remember last Dec 25 when Lakers vs Celtics was interrupted by Spongebob Squarepants? (I'm not even kidding. I had my one-day pass refunded for that.)

How much does it cost in the UK? The site just gives the price in dollars. Do they charge the same amount but in £'s or does it follow the exchange rate?

Just logged in (using a pc); some of them start with the old testcard and beep, but if you move the slider below the screen (ie move a few minutes ahead) the games are there.
