Wolves 98 Capital 80 Great result for Wolves tonight - some really strong defence at times and some good shooting especially from distance. Zabas top scored with 25 but MVP for me was Uzkuraitis, 24 points and didn’t stop running all night. They are turning into a good combination with 9 3’s between them in this game. Vast improvement on free throws, something like 17/22, including 2/2 from Damian Cope - his first points in the league this season? Roy Owen had a few minutes as well and I think made a couple of assists. Kenny Saunders scored in the first 6 seconds and the last 6 seconds of the match, but was quiet in between, finishing with 5 pts. Skouson battled hard against the Capital big guys and still made 10 pts as did Chey Christie and Disy boosted his points to 19 with 10 in the last quarter. Kick off meeting for the new supporters club was held after the game with Chuck and the players all making an appearance. Nice way to round off a good night. |
