Thought was a good win tonight despite some scrappy play at times and forced shots at end of shot clock. Another very good spread of scoring between the usual suspects.

Don't really know what to make of Everton. Good big men, babalola's dunk and and 1 was a particular highlight for me. One of the guards, recently allowed import i think, did seem to have the green light to shoot the three whenever he wanted with what seemed like limited success, at least on two occassions in the half court game without even making a single pass, Tony G didn't seem bothered though.

Lost in the depths of the NZ wilderness for 2 weeks - with no access to internet or scores or opinions and only just found out about the Newcastle result, let alone the Everton win. Good stuff guys - that sets up the season - I'll ignore the MK report for now!

Fantastic to beat last year's top two in consecutive weekends. A good weekend coming up and we'll be right up there in contention for the top spots.

Perhaps too soon to say - but the early signs of Chad McKnight as player-coach look very good to me.
