Hi to all you great Thunder Fans, It's the old Slam Man here from Bedford, Nova Scotia, Canada. You have to help me out here, because I'm not getting enough info to keep up to date on my favorite player, one of yours too, Kadiri Richard and his game exploits in your home building. Here in Halifax, our forum is always buzzing, even when nothing is going on, like right now. No games, just signings, just hopes for a better team. (How can that be with our best player wearing your team colors for the season?) Anyways, I need help on getting my hands on some video, photos, comments, etc. I need you guys drinking more beer, getting more excited, and posting all the dirt so I can get on board and feel a part of this team. What do you say, Glen, Dave F, Desirre, Mr. Flea, JohnSwissH, Mickcafc, and the rest of you heavy ale drinking mates? Poor GREENBAY4LIFE and I are on the wrong side of the pond, but we still want to follow our good friend Kadiri and make sure he's having success on the court and that all of you are pleased with his MAJOR effort and contribution. CAn we count on you guys to keep the "information highway" moving? Got to go and grab a Garrison IPA before they vaporize. Now here is a real reason for all of you wanting to join me for a game here in Halifax in the future. Give me a call and I'll treat all of you to the "Canadian Beer of the Year" for the last two years running, brewed right here in Scotia. Us Canadians are really good at 3 things, drinking beer, playing hockey, and knowing top notch basketball talent when we see it. Look forward to your updates, respectfully yours. Slam Man |

Hey Dave and Mr. Flea (now there is a title I'd like to hear the story attached to it) Thanks a million for your help. I'll bring an IPA or 2 over just for you guys when I blow into town for a Thunder game later this year. I do check the Argus, saw Kadiri mention my bike shop "with all those Lance Armstrong type bikes" and how supportive of him I am. Kadiri speaks highly of Earl Brown (alias GREENBAYFORLIFE) so I feel comfortable saying he is a "top notch" guy for sure. We appreciate all your hospitality. It's pretty cool to have a group of people from all over the world following and supporting a team. Thanks again, and I hope to meet all of you soon. The Scotian Slam Man |
