Commiserations Sharks I have to admit I had strong reservations about this game and when the Sharks slowly chipped away at our lead in the 4th (to within 3pts ) , I wasn't too sure if we could pull it back but once again the Lads did us proud , and held on to the end ... I will look forward to the usual match analysis from our pundits with great anticipation All credit to Sharks , they are defo contenders this year !! Highlight of the night , ... Singing happy birthday to Charles at the end Big thanks to Bill, Chris, Lynne & Leigh for getting us there and back safely ( It was a good trip) Well I am off to bed and try to get some sleep See yall Sunday .... Arrived by train/tram to see Elton John fans crying, shouting and feeling pretty peed off. The writing was on the wall. Mike Cook`s a find but unfortunately was expected to do too much. Attiba needs to rein Tap in, he played like he did at the start of last season being uncontrolled and impetuous. His acting skills also need attention, someone on the Oota Scoota mentioned buying a plastic Oscar for him, but I reckoned a Tony for Toney for his lead role in `The Young and the Reckless` (Cheesy American series where the acting was as wooden as the sets). I guess he wanted to show us what we were missing, can be a great player but needs a tight structure to work in. Perry had a decent game, Todd didn`t find his groove and Gorman the Goon is just a blunt instrument with arms. Would have fouled out in the first half if the truth be known. Prince Charles had his official birthday and marked it as Eagles top scorer AGAIN. And where was Retsek to join in the singing of Happy Birthday to our beloved Prince, couldn`t make it. Nor more importantly could the bottle of red wine he still owes me which I might have cracked to raise a toast to the Prince on the way back. Either he`s trying to look after my liver, already semi-marinated in cabernet sauvignon, or he`s just a typical Yorkshre man difficult to part from his money. We could have a poll?
