From the stats (I was Coaching elsewhere) it looks like the difference was in Offensive accuracy - Eagles shot the ball better - not a lot else to get from it aside from more Assists for the Eagles. Interestingly what I touted as a match up to watch doesn't statistically appear to be that prominent (KB v Reggie) both finished with %'s they may want to forget - unless it was actually a match up where they played each other to a stand still (a'la Midge and Bridge - last year). Congrats Eagles |

Have to say it wasn't a classic. However the big thing was the W. Was a little worried before the match given last night's result and arriving home less than 12 hours before match started this afternoon. However we kept the lead all through the game. Great game from DD, I thought that Bridgey and JC also had good games for us. Hope Fab is OK for next weekend. What was the thing with the bottle of water at the end of the final quarter? |

Tony G lost it at that point and threw (or rather smashed) a plastic bottle of water on the court he can't complain about ref's not seing things, if they had seen that he was gone. At least Olu had the good grace to help the towel boy wipe it up. |

From where we were we felt a stray bottle accidently fell on Uncle Tony`s rubber shoes and catapulted itself across the court alledgedly. Dave F called for CSI Tyneside and the MiGs traced the water back across the court but thought the Tyne had come in too far. Edited by Angel of the North, Oct 18 2009, 10:28 PM.

You could see the water trail back to the Tigers bench so thought it must have come from there. And also I didn't realise that Will Smith was playing for us (nice one Howard
