Massive win tonight, such an entertaining game from start to finish. Thought Joseph in particular was superb, along with usual suspects Martin and McKnight. |

Ahhh that was one of the best games I've ever seen... I'm still smiling about it now!! LA was incredible, and so was everyone else really! And we only basically had 6 players but still managed to win... How cool is that?! The atmosphere was good too =) |

Goes down in my book as one of the gutsiest performances I've ever seen from a Heat team. We were effectively down to a 6 man rotation given the depth of the Eagles, and when Chad fouled out Tayo came on (& had the balls to make couple of crucial scores after missing his first few) and played a blinder given his lack of experience Heroes all, but LA really stood out tonight - awesome - I couldn't believe the Eagles didn't put more offensive pressure on him as he was on 4 fouls virtually throughout OT to get him out of the game. That really would have been curtains for us. As for anyone else coming up against Joe Chapman.....the man put on a shooting display last night the like of which I hope I never have to see from another teams player again. Truly shot the lights out |

I agree, what a great game to have the pleasure of watching. My voice is a little hoarse today from so much shouting during the second half and through OT but the team deserved any effort the supporters put in. All credit to them for throwing there all in to that game after a tough 40 minutes for most on Friday evening against the Lions. LA and Kenny looked like they were seriously flagging in OT but still kept on the pressure in defense and offense. Tayo came out and turned it on after Chad had fouled out and shows great promise for the rest of the season. As much as I enjoy Kenny's reverse slam dunks I hope in future he confines them to matches where we are well ahead and he makes sure of the points in these nailbiters. For the Eagles, Joe Chapman stood out with some unbelievable 3 point shooting, he hit nine and only missed one or two, incredible. He always shot them off so fast before our defence could close him down. Charles Smith had a solid game as well making many baskets under pressure. However, I think the most memorable moment for me (apart from that whistle finally blowing at the end of course) was one of LA's defensive rebounds beating Charles Smith to the ball, for me it summed up a great performance by him. The team missed a few free throws under pressure but I'm hoping these will improve as the team's confidence grows. |

Heat won well last night but its could be a awake up call to the Eagles who could played better the only good aspect for me today after a 600 mile round trip is I dont have to see that Bob ref again as he gets a nose bleed north of Guildford Also Josephs has being doing us with the 3's for years
