I wouldn't agree that ALL talk is about Bradd and Tack but the guard is such a pivotal position that it's inevitable really. Moreover, we haven't seen a player as good/exciting as Tack at guard since Terence . That said, I totally agree about Johnson and others too - they don't get the recognition they deserve but in time that'll change as the spotlight moves away from Tack. I reckon this team is stronger especially in terms of depth than last year's. Time will tell.

People dont talk abot him because he gets his points quietly, primarily on the offensive glass.

Without a doubt, My favourite player this season,

Very much under rated, Excellent in defence and silent in offence, You just don't see those points tally up,

Keep it up JJ :clap

I would completely agree. Not too sure what else to add other than to echo the points made above. The way Tack plays and the fact that he has the ball in his hands about 90% of the time Riders are on offence mean that he will always be the focus of a lot of attention but JJ has been very impressive so far. It was always going to be difficult filling the gap left by Tommy but Jason is doing that very well. All aspects of his game look good, apart from the odd missed free throw, but if he's going to put up 22 & 11 every night I think I can overlook that!!

Yes he may miss the odd freethrow but how often does he get to the line?He forces the oposition teams to foul him putting them in foul trouble and a free throw is still a much higher percentage shot than a floor shot.I thought when he signed he might have a few problems in this league but ive been proved wrong by his consitantly high standard of play.Hes a very important part of our team.Im just glad he plays for us and not for anyone else. He's fast and mobile, can drive to the basket and rebounds well.If he worked on his jumpshot and defence abit i think he could make a amazing small forward, which i think could well be his best position.Hes doing a great job for us in the pf role and i expect he will be the top scorer for us tonight. Can't wait to see him play again tonight and if we can learn to play together as a team with everybody getting there share of the ball and all doing there role we might just win something this year.We have protentialy the best back court in the L with tack and brad and a good mix of effective players all with different skills and roles to play,we just need to put all the peices of the jigsaw puzzle together in the right place and silverware could be on its way. :clap :clap :clap

Yeah my comment about his free throw shooting was meant as a sort of back-handed compliment about how well he has been playing. I was saying that it doesn’t really bother me if he continues to shoot around 50% from the line if he continues to play as well as he has and keeps posting 22 & 11 each night along with playing some solid D.

Personally I’m not so sure about SF being his best position although I can see where you are coming from and he may well be able to adapt his game to be successful at the 3 spot. I do think, however, that he will make a very good PF in this league and probably at a higher level in the future. The fact that he is a rookie makes his start to the season even more impressive. One thing I would add about his game is that he is a very good passer for a big guy, even though we have only played a few games he has already picked up a couple of assists that any point guard would be proud of.

I do like Jason and I think he can really do the silent assassin job well. He steals 2 points here n 2 points there and really rebounds well.

However, he's still a rookie in this league.

He needs to play some more solid defence; let his player get away from him too many times last night. Also, there were times, offensively last night, where it looked like he was playing for his stats sheet n then we lost possession due to missed shots. He must learn to distribute the ball if your shot ain't on.

He's a good player, just needs o round his game up a little more. Would definately prefer to have him in a Riders jersey than against us.
