With pre-season in full swing and everybody busy arguing about unestablished leagues in Britain, I thought it was about time someone started this thread... Please discuss your predictions in the following areas (and beyond): Winners: Who's gonna win the title? Will the Lakers repeat? Can Shaq make the Cavs contenders? Will KG and 'Sheed Wallace get the C's back to the Finals? Is Vince Carter the missing piece from Orlando's jigsaw? Can the Spurs club their ageing legs together for one more ring? MVP: Who will be voted the league's most valuable player? Will it be a case of Kobe vs LeBron again? Will Chris Paul put up enough crazy numbers to be considered? Is there anybody else? ROY: Who will be the top rookie? Blake Griffin's award to lose? Can the undersized Steph Curry be a genuine pro shooter? Is Tyreke Evans the real deal? Will Jonny Flynn make Minnesota remotely respectable? Can DeJuan Blair be the injection of youth needed for the Spurs to challenge out west? Also, how will GB's guys fair this year? Can Deng (and Gordon) push for All-Star consideration? Will Pops get solid minutes in Houston? Season proper starts in less than 12 days! Your thoughts please... |

KG for MVP ![]() Anyway, to my score card: Boston LeBron Griffin How about most improved team? I think we'll see the Blazers take a big step forward now they have got the experience of a playoff beat down behind them. If Arenas stays healthy then Washington should also get back to where they used to be if not a bit better. Compared with last season that would be a massive improvement. |
