The problem is I wouldn't have Sky Sports normally as it offers nothing of interest (be good if the BBL does indeed get back on there soon though) so I'd be annoyed at having to pay for that and then pay again for ESPN, it would be quite wasteful. Why can't they offer ESPN without having sky sports already?

You don't have to have Sky Sports - it's just cheaper to buy ESPN if you do.

Sky Sports subscribers get ESPN for £9 extra a month

Non-Sky Sports subscribers, but accessing ESPN through a Sky box, pay £12 a month and get ESPN, ESPN Classic and ESPN America

It's all on the ESPN UK website folks...

Thats pretty bad considering its a free channel on Virgin (i think?).
Actually it depends on the Virgin package you're subscribed to:

TV XL package: it's free
TV M or TV L packages: £8.00 a month with Sky Sports or £10.00 a month without

We already have XL so looking forwards to watching some games at some point

In fairness Lost Baller did say that first list was premature and the 2nd list he posted did show the NO-SA game was 'as live' in his 2nd list.

I hope it wont go the way of C5 where most games are delayed repeats and not shown live. £12 isn't so bad, it used to be £13 for NASN and that was a few years ago.

Well the Spurs and Hornets don't play until tomorrow night, so it's kinda hard to show it tomorrow at 5pm! Just a typo I suspect...

Yeah I have ESPN without Sky Sports on SKY. I just set it up to record on ESPN HD via the program guide...

I was copying the fixtures from here: http://www.espn.co.uk/sports-on-espn/nba-fixtures/

The info is changing all the time though...

edit: on my Sky EPG

Thurs 08:30
FIBA World Magazine (this is repeated a fair amount)

Thurs 11:00
NO at Spurs

Thurs 17:15
NO at Spurs

Fri 02:30 tv listing time (GMT Sat 02:30)
Dallas @ LA (Live)

Sat 09:00 Replay
Dallas @ LA (2hr cutdown)

Spoiler alert :)

Yeah the hornets look like a team who had a bad pre-seaon, poor training camp and down early in the 1st game. No rythm, no chemistry, quick to point the finger. They really don't look happy with their sets & options plus the spurs shooting well along with getting a bunch of 2nd chance points means they can't get running... spurs look strong though. Very strong. If healthy they'll be a handful for sure.

Bring on the Lakers game hoo raahh.
