Worthing Herlad says Ryan Marrast is training with the side. He is back looking for teaching work. Now, is he helping make up the numbers in training session or could be adding even more depth to the squad?

This is good news but I wonder if this means Janis is not expecting to make it back, so we've signed Ryan as a replacement?

Anyway it does give us extra depth, which is quite remarkable given the number of teams with only 2 or 3 bench players this season. We're a small budget team yet we've managed to assemble a full squad of players. :)

Not all that shocking really when you consider your coach is who he is. Titmus had very deep and very productive benches at his time in Reading, and I guess players like playing under him so money won't always be an issue if these players know they will get a chance to play quality minutes and be well looked after.

It's games like tonight that leave you with the old 'what if Janis...' comments on the tip of your tongue. :( Glad to hear he will be back!

Yeah, ultimately a disappointing game. wasn't at all impressed with Sheffield, we made them look a hell of a lot better than they were. If we hadn't been so rubbish in the second period, made more of our free-throws and hadn't been playing against 8 men in the final period it may have been different! - Still we had the opportunity to take the game in the last minute and threw that away too! :mad
