Sam H: I don't think it's always as bad as you claim(C4 were generally pretty good back in the day) but what always annoys me is that whenever a new channel picks up the UK's NBA rights they assume that no one watching has seen a game of basketball before(in the case of ESPN last night - they assumed no one had watched an NBA game before!). Er, hello the NBA has been screened on British TV for well over a decade now, very few of us need a 101!

Just wish our networks would screen it direct from the US without trying to 'do it themselves' as it were...

I do think however that colin Murray was trying to say FREE pointer, rather than 3 pointer when he was shooting the free throw. Perhaps i am being too nice, he does after all have a clear grasp of the size of larry bird!
