Think there's 6 of us going from the back row to bring the noise, looking forward to it after the first two home games.

Very disappointing performance against a fairly average MK Lions team. Undoubtedly IMO the better side one on the night, but our shooting was poor. 1 three point attempt made out of 19!!!

Free throws weren't much better.

The game was there for the taking, which makes it all the more frustrating.....

Thought our support was excellent and comfortably outsung the home team. Other than the drum, it was a bit like a library.....

So all we had to do was make about 5 of 19 threes and we'd have likely won - despite reports we never even turned up. They're raving about EJ, but I don't think 1 player can make that much of a difference (and for them, its going to suck when he gets injured again). MK's previous results suggested we should have won this game, but we haven't proven ourselves on the road yet. Are we going to be one of these teams who is good at home but bad on the road? Still early days but I have high hopes this season and for us to not be 3-1 right now is an under-achievement IMO. I know, we could be 1-3 if not for Reggie, but the Rocks are the best team we've played so far and that was a great measuring stick for how good we could be. Consistency and winning on the road are the keys it seems.

I believe the only reason Thunder got closer was the fact that Lions brought on their younger, inexperienced players and naturally they didn't cope well with an overly physical press. Once the more experienced guys returned it was over.

I would suggest that perhaps Sharks were the best team you've played this season. You played Rocks after they had played the night before, with only 6 players on their rotation, they are always going to struggle towards the end of the game if they've played the night before.

One player doesn't make a difference then Sam??

Just to point out that when we beat Rocks we had played Sheffield the night before!!!
I also think that EJ DOES TEND TO MAKE YOUR TEAM THAT MUCH BETTER but on the night you were the better side!!!!

We were poor for half the game on sunday - but hopefully we will give a better account of ourselves on the 13th November!!!

Also it was good to see you all up there and my thanks go to I think it was Bob on the door for his help!!!

Yes because Reggie hit the game winner, that is what I meant rather than his on-court performance which as good as it was, would not have won it for us without help from the others.

I think Rocks are better than Sharks and whilst we didn't have a good game at MK almost everyone feels we let one slip away in Sheffield and should have taken that one. They've had a few results thus far but it's hard to see them finishing in the top 3 whereas Rocks should do that even with their short bench.

Yes- but you don't have a 6 man rotation. I would suggest that the vast majority of your bench players are better than Rocks 7th and 8th players and are likely to see far more minutes.

So his previous 44 points don't count then!!!

Most certainly, we wouldn't have beaten you without him. But then how many games would you have won without Bratton?

Of course his other 44 points helped but so did other player's contributions, just as in the win over Plymouth we had a much more balanced scoring output. Im sure adding EJ helped a lot but he is not the only player on the team that can contribute, nor the only veteran.

Rocks have a short bench, yes. But that doesn't weaken them much IMO. I don't think they lost to us because of fatigue, and when you look at our bench production in that game it was pretty limited past the 6th man, as Midge, Brame and Hildreth logged precious few minutes so I don't think our guys would have had much more energy than theirs!
