Bullets Feel The Fury

Team Birmingham Bullets had a nightmare start to the season with a 86-51 loss to the College of West Anglia Fury.

The Fury showed their intent by starting the game with a flurry of 3 pointers from all sides of the court. Their superior height and weight told in the paint and on more than one occasion, Neil Nisbet was knocked to the floor in off the ball rebounding incidents and the referee's ignored his pleas to watch the game off the ball.

When asked how he was going to turn the loss around Coach Williams replied “There will be a few new faces at practice this week and a few faces that would be”.

Are you for real?

Or am I the innocent victim of a windup here?

No-one writes this kind of thing, paragraph after paragraph.

Nope. I've decided. It's a wind up.

God bless the red-top school of journalism - for which I have soooo much respect - that makes such posts seem vaguely possible, before a reality check kicks in after 10 seconds.

Still, not a bad pastiche. Just a little too long to be convincing. 6/10for effort.

Edit

Aww that's not fair. you've taken out all the good bits and my post now looks silly.

It is not necessary to change - survival is not mandatory

I reserve the right to ignore you in a grown-up, though slightly aloof way, if you are rude to me
