Just a quick post to wish them good luck today when they play in their first competitive game today against Leopards in the National Cup. A very difficult start for them, I hope a few Lions fans may attend as Barking is much closer than Chester!!! |

They did your club proud, eventually losing 70-53. clap They led for most of the first 14 minutes, and held Leopards scoreless in the final seven minutes (albeit only adding 7 to their total during that spell). They were undersized against a side starting a 7 footer and 6'10" Steve Campbell, but shot the three really well. If they play like that every week they'll do well in D4. |

Lions II suffered a false start last weekend with a forfeit against them at Worcester Wolves II but are down to start their league campaign this week at home to Team Gloster Jets who will be looking to rebound after a 40-105 home thrashing by Birmingham Mets |

anyone know how the 2nd team are doing and who the regular players are? unless I've missed it there's no mention of the team on the club website which is a bit surprising. |
