Back in from Arena after watching Eagles v Jets. Really enjoyed the game.

Just wanted to say I hope Calvin is okay & it's not too serious (although being taken away on a stretcher not so sure). :nails

Take care Calvin, hope to see you back on court soon.

Spoke to Deb our Physio after the game, she said for it to swell so quickly as it did, it wasn`t looking good. Hoping it`s just a bad sprain???
A bit rusty and knackered but still impressive for her age!

The Tafflerickets family also wish Calvin all the best for a speedy recovery.

It must be said that not only did the Paramedics wrap his whole leg in a splint as though it was fractured or dislocated, but I also think he was on gas and air, so it must have been pretty painful.

Let's hope that it's not as bad as it seems.

My first thoughts were "Oh good at least it's not his dodgy knees" not too sure about it now.
Hope to get a bit more information at tonights game,

Came on here looking for news. It did look really bad last night, not the sort of start to a season you want to see. Hope he is ok and back to his devastating self very soon.

ps, almost irrelevant given the above but what a game you guys gave us :clap

Calvin didn't travel home with the rest of the team as he was taken to hospital for an X-ray on a suspected broken ankle/torn ligaments.

Hope he's ok soon but the initial prognosis is not looking good!!!

And yes, you did give us a great game and when Phifer sorts himself out you look ok!!!

Thanks everyone for your good wishes - I'll make sure they're passed to Cal tomorrow night!!

Great to catch up with everyone last night :hug :kiss
All in all it's been a rocky road,
Twists and turns along the way,
But, I still pray for tomorrow
All my hopes, my dreams
Don't fade away...

Get well soon - have to say as soon as we saw him go down we thought it was a nasty injury
It's all grand fun

It's not that I keep losing my train of thought that bothers me! It's just that some days, my train is derailed!
Whitley bay FC under 9's Porto are a fantastic football team
