Just got back from the game..........

Yes we were indeed somewhat lacking in any consistent structure, and one or two players will surely be able to perform better when they are more familiar with each other, and are more familiar with what is expected of them. For that reason, would not be too downbeat, there is another week now to prepare for our first home game, so we'll see what develops.

A fuller report can be found in next week's program.

Been back from the game a while...

I've supported Wolves since they started up but this was my first trip to watch them away from home - and probably the last this season unless there's a big turnaround in performance over the next few weeks.

What a let down. We were dire. Randy George was the only Wolves player that looked like a professional basketball player. The shooting was shambolic - there were 10 year old kids on court at half time hitting better shots than most of the Wolves players. We've never been great at free throws but I forecast we will be worst in the league this year.

Neither Christie nor Saunders lived up to the big import billing - perhaps we've been spoiled with the likes of Life and Paez recently. Christie sparked into life with a couple of 3's in Q4 but it was too late by then.

I couldn't get to the Reading game so don't know if we were better last time and this was an off night. I hope so otherwise its going to be another frustrating season.

Big surprise for me visiting another venue was the atmosphere at the game - there wasn't any. No noise at all at times during the game. Decent glossy programme - free - was a nice touch though and everyone was very friendly.

Lions look like they could do well. Spinks was commanding in the first half, everyone contributed and they have Harrison to come. Guy Dupuy will be a big attraction in the BBL this season. Nailed on winner of this years dunk competition and to those who say dunkings ok but can he play - yes he can.
