Rookie Posts: 4 Group: Member Member #10,125 Joined: February 19, 2009	Hi Sharks Fans, I have recently set up a website for North Sheffield and we are trying to run some giveaways for our members. We have talks ongoing with the Steelers who are going to advertise on the site and write match reports, and in return give us a couple of tickets for each game to give away free on the website. I was hoping that the Sharks would be interested in the same sort of deal as there are numerous benefits on both parts. I along with a friend who are both from Sheffield, have set up a website called tha' must be local. o outline what we offer is a website aimed at North Sheffield as a place to get local discounts, a forum to chat about local issues and general things aswell as a groups feature to share and find local groups. We have been live for 7 weeks now and have established a member base of nearly 150 and average 40 unique hits per day. While these numbers are modest we believe that in addition to out 15.000 flyers due to go out next week across the region we aim to at least triple those figures. We are in talks with many local businesses and the Steelers as a I mentioned who are all very interested in the advertising capabilities of the first local website for the area. What we are offering the sharks is: A write up introducing the Sharks to all members and guests on our homepage A spot for match reports and reviews also to feature on homepage Your own profile page containing fixtures, times venues - anything you like An advert in the forum banner - our prime spot A link to the Sharks website You can advertise any events or junior training sessions etc In return We would like to be able to giveaway sharks tickets to our members in either weekly or monthly prizes Each of our winners who win the tickets we would love to be able to have a photo done of them and a little write up of how they enjoyed the game, again more publicity on both our behalves. A link on your website to thamustbelocal.com We are trying to establish ourselves in the community and by working in conjunction with large organisations like yourselves we have a much greater chance of doing so. We are looking to expand into schools and sports organisations and should be able to offer you lots more avenues of advertising in the future.
