Hell of a blow, getting Janis back was huge for us this offseason. I thought our problem of front court depth from last season had been well addressed, hope he's not out too long.
He's injured, didn't play against usa select or in the weekend games.

Just ridiculous statement...

The prolapse occurred last season.

I was expecting big things form Janis this season, guess I'll just have to wait until the new year.

Get well soon Janis.

Is Janis expecting to be out until the new year then? I thought the article said they didn't know how long? Im rather hoping he'll be back before that but they shouldn't rush him either, make sure he is definitely ok first.

I still like our chances of getting off to a good start - one of the things I liked about this roster was that its deep, and the value of being deep is that losing someone to injury isn't as bad as it might be if you didn't have backup. However I do feel now we will be requiring massive contributions from our starters. Not to take away from the bench guys but none of them are proven big scorers, whereas with Janis in the lineup you'd likely have one guy coming off the bench who could add scoring punch.

Most people are predicting a Thunder win tomorrow night (apart from DAVE MARSHALL!!!) so on paper we've obviously impressed. Now lets put it into action!
