A big thank you to all the Stewards, Officials and other volunteers for their hard work yesterday.

The day seemed to go well and the final was really entertaining.

Was a good day of basketball.
All the new players looked good.
Richard is the best defensive big man i have seen, changed every shot he was near.
Can't wait for next week. Role on our first win.
Remember, it doesn't matter whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose.

I thought it was 66-62. That Mike Martin dunk was before the buzzer.

I think the dunk was before the buzzer but it still didn't count cos no on likes Mike Martin!

The thunder cup was awesome, altho a little dissapointing that we still haven't won it!

P-Blue i thought was our best player on saturday, which is pretty impressive as he had only got in to the country the day before.

Bratton looks incredible I think once he's gotten used to BBL style play he will totally dominate.
Also think Bratton and P-Blue will form one hell of a one-two punch, running some devastating fast breaks.

Kadiri is a Beast! Loved the hustle and way he challenged every shot, A little worried we may have to forfeit some games this season as I don't think there is any chance our rims can handle Kadiri, do we have a back up plan in place for when he dunks, lands and still has the rim in his hands? I hope so!

Didn't think Ville played all that well, good hustle tho diving for loose balls, i like that a lot. Heard He was much better in the scrimmage against USA select so looking forward to seeing more of him.

And it was good to see our local players playing well and hitting their shots. Hopefully that will carry on and give us a firm foundation.

Bring on the Raiders!

I told yall kadiri is a very solid player that can deliever. I hate to say I told you so but I did. And he is so humble and grounded. He's a diamond in the ruff. Anyone know how you can view any of the games online. I'm over here in the states and my son n I would love to see him play again.
Can someone email me with a link

I think there wont be a problem- he just wants to take them home for some more practice!

The new wind-down baskets have sprung rims on the same back board thickness so hopefully Chris will have his spanners handy. Unfortunately I cant see the Leisure Centre coughing up for a spare rim. I would have thought the new ones would have been better fitted to the main backboards, they will certainly not have had all the jammins' the old ones have.

I too was impressed with the whole team, a little more gelling time and I think we will be a challenge in all games. :party
