Sharks 78 Newcastle 81 a game played behind closed doors why? anyone got any ideas why.The management never even mentioned the game why? This would i am sure have brought a bigger crowd than the one against the USA Select. The report on the match on the Eagles site makes good reading. Did any one from Newcastle know about this game or were they kept in the dark aswell.

Nope- and I was quite shocked to hear of it the other day, and am perplexed by the decision to play it behind closed doors. |

Was that somebody screaming It wasn't me for sure I lift my head up from uneasy pillows Put my feet on the floor Cut my wrist on a bad thought And head for the door Outside on the pavement The dark makes no noise I can feel the sweat on my lips Leaking into my mouth I'm heading out for the steep hills They're leaving me no choice -Pal Waaktaar Dingolorious's Channel- Future LPer | |

There was a report in the Newcastle Evening Chronicle on Thursday night saying it would be happening. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/basketball-news/newcastle-eagles/2009/09/17/blake-adopting-a-defiant-tone-ahead-of-friendly-72703-24713437/ |

I was only there as I was on Chauffeur duty for the team!!! I know the game was very last minute and I THINK the time availability of the court would have made it difficult to get supporters in and out??? Players only took the court 10 minutes or so before tip and had to leave the building within 15 minutes of the finish!!! No conspiracy theories or not relating to fans issues.......................and it was an excellent work-out for both sides!!!
