Can a basketball career be persuid without education? I know European basketball isn't as bothered about education as America Is their any academies which you can go to? which mainly focuses on basketball rather than the education |

Baller as well thinking about a career in bball you still need an EDUCATION! If you were considering a basketball academy a GOOD academy would have education to their foremost as well as basketball, COME ON! If it doesnt work out baller, then what? PLEASE think about your education as well. |

yeh but u gotta think some people just arent very smart and education past a certain age isnt an option regardess of basketball. a job would hopefully be available after pusueing a basketball career, or even education after. obviously this is different for each individual |

I understand everyone is not upto par with education but come on you cannot set your heights on one thing, you have a wide choice within education now, if an academy takes you on on the sole of your basketball ability and not thinking about what type of education is needed to go along with that, they are NOT a good academy. How far do you think you will get eventually whether USA bound or Europe, dont look at people like Lebron James (exceptional) yes, he went straight to the NBA level at a very young age, but stop dreaming and do your research,(then again i'm sorry for coming on too hard, but i guess thats really what you are doing now, researching!) Like i said sorry for coming on strong, good luck anyway baller, please do your research into any academy and see where they are going to take you, i dont get easily fooled by sweet talk. |

I dont think anything of the sort but if its pursue a basketball career or work on a shop floor for your life i know what id choose. Im just saying education sometimes isnt an option for some people and therefore basketball still can be. after all that job on the shop floor will always be there but a career in bball wont. i happen to be doing both lol but im fortunate enough to be fairly academic, others are not. what should they do give up?? |
