I'd expect Newcastle and Everton to be top two. Sheffield and Chester look good on paper to make up top four. I think MK and Leicester will be there or thereabouts, with us battling with Rocks, Worthing and Heat for play off places. I think we'll be competitive this season as we look pretty strong at the front, but we don't have much cover at the back and none at the point and maybe lack some height. Overall though I'm looking forward to the season and watching our new look team and who knows maybe we'll surprise some people - me included I hope. |

Maybe too early for predictions but I like what these new players are saying. I must admit I don't buy into the raiders hype that only two teams have a bigger budget than us. I can't imagine that our team with 4 rookies to the league including 2 who haven't played professionally before has cost anywhere as much as Sheffield, Chester, MK with their experienced line ups, Rocks with Yanders and Leicester with their depth. Still like you say we could surprise some teams |

yeah i cant call it, havent even seen the new players yet and will miss all the pre-season games so will predict after first 1 or 2 games. Wont be the same though this year. |

No it won't be the same, it'll be very different. But doesn't that make it exciting, to see how the new team performs? After all, at this time last year there was huge expectation and (sorry, Gary), results that didn't match up. This year there's little expectation, which means less pressure on the team - and they may shock us all (in a good way!).

It could even be better next season. I agree about the budgets though especially now Anthony has gone to Worcester after turning us down. If we can't compete financially with Worcester then we hardly likely to one of the bigger spenders |

Who says Anthony going to Worcester is all about money? Maybe we just wanted a different type of point guard.Would have been good to have had Anthony as well but I'd imagine he'd want to be a starter and having Anthony as back up probably would have been too expensive for us. |
