Friday September 11 - 7.00pm
Capital v's Team USA
Followed at 9.00pm by
Leopards v's Team USA

Saturday September 12 - 2.00pm
Capital v's Leopards

No idea of admission coss, at the moment.

Team USA will be bringing two squads of players over. The main one will play Capital, and around ten other games. The other one will play Leopards in the first of six games, mainly against EBL teams but I think they also have a midweek game at Worthing.

Team USA won 63-61 against Capital and then their other team closed out strongly against Leopards to win 78-51. Saturday afternoon sees Capital face Leopards in what should be a tense and thrilling second place play-off.

Thanks Hersey and to Pat on the Anything? thread. So there is a team, a coach and they`ve played a friendly. More than a lot of the other clubs have done so far. Who were we to doubt them!
A bit rusty and knackered but still impressive for her age!

i was thinking the same thing. glad they have got a couple of warm up games in under their belts.

i think their promo people need sacking though... why aren't they publicising already??? surely they need to be trying to build on the 2 fans London have?

Capital beat a Leopards team consisting mainly (7/10) of trialists 78-75 yesterday. Decent run-out for both teams.

Hurrray a coach, a squad and pre season friendlies. All that is needed now is a crowd to watch them.
