Team Birmingham Bullets are pleased to announce that they have made their first signing of the current season.

Guard Forward, Emanuel Bradshaw is one of the rising stars of basketball in Birmingham and is the first of a crop of local players that attended trials for the Bullets and made the grade.

"Emanuel has the winning attitude needed to compete at the highest levels and if he continues to improve he'll be another Darius Defoe and break into the BBL at a young age" said Head Coach Des Williams

Former Birmingham Panthers player, Josh Crutchley has also committed to the Bullets program.

“Josh brings experience to the side having played in the BBL and he's a team player and that's what we need with such a young squad” added Williams.

I dont think you will find "Bullets" have signed anyone.

Your team is registered with EB as Team Birmingham - yet another example of how you appear to let spin get in the way of the facts.

Good to see a signing for a local team. Shame they won't be able to play in Birmingham itself, but I understand there was some opposition from the Athletics. I'm sure once the name's sorted out to Spaced Cowboy's satisfaction, things will move forward nicely.

Seems that the ill informed are still spouting their hate. If I'd wanted to hear from an ####, I'd have farted!!

Hi Mark, thanks for the support. Messrs Nisbet and Williams are currently talking to EB about the situation and I think they'll resolve the matter in due course.

With regards to the A's opposing the plan to play at Aston Arena, the team owners aren't bothered. The A's wanted a link with Team Birmingham and Messrs Williams and Nisbet wanted to link up too. However, Mr Hanson wanted the name changed from Bullets. The main sponsor would have pulled out had the name changed so the A's pulled out of discussions.

Team Birmingham have an office in Victoria Square, courtesy of their sponsors, a website connected to Mr Williams's sports management business birminghambullets.com and a bunch of 17-20 yrs that want to play. No politics, no hating its all about development.

If there are any teams out there that want to work with the team, the owners are more than willing to have a chat and work together.

OK guys! :time

As requested, there is a forum for Team Birmingham Bullets; however, it can be pulled as quickly as it was created.

Please can we watch the personal insults, language, etc., etc?

Thanks! :thumb

All in all it's been a rocky road,
Twists and turns along the way,
But, I still pray for tomorrow
All my hopes, my dreams
Don't fade away...

Have you read "how to win friends & influence people ?"

Anyway, just to clarify: Team Birmingham Bullets don't play in Birmingham, aren't actually called Bullets but - like most other teams - have signed some players.
:clap you make A's look professional

Isn't there some problem with Mr Bown and the use of the Bullets name, or was that as factual as most other things relating to that gentleman?
