I'm there from tomorrow, but from what I'm told, the o2 is virtally empty at the moment! The marketing for this has been incredible though.. NBA.com, Basketball 24/7, even Facebook are involved. |

Turkey are the early leaders of Game On At The O2 as they comfortably beat Israel 85-69. Led by 22 Oguz Savas points, the Turks took control in the second period, and never looked back as they wrapped up a double digit victory on Friday evening. You can get me some hits of basketballgb if you want the rest ! |

Statboy's link was constantly giving me a message that the limit of live streams for my country was reached and it was stopping all the time. For those who missed the game - it is available on archive here http://www.justin.tv/tomciotv#from-23.42,August-14-2009 Though the archive was created in Lithuanian time which is GMT+2 so you might also try this link http://www.justin.tv/tomciotv#from-21.42,August-14-2009 It should start in the third quarter. |

It`s just crazy though here we all are watching a stream from Polish Tv and the damned event is here, in London at the O2 and British Tv couldn`t give a monkeys. So sad. |

Its on Sky on Moday - thats as good as a minority sport is likely to get. There is a controversial view that if more people got off their backsides and supported such events, it might be easier to get coverage. |

Shame to see GB loose by such a convincing margin but we were missing our big names (Deng was there and said a few words to the crowd, think he said he's back playing in a month). Leven looked out of his depth to me and Clark disappointed (he is only young though). The crowd wasn't massive but the Turks & Pols certainly made some noise which wasn't really met with much response. Pretty good game night entertainment except for the cheerleaders who were really bad on all levels!. If you're going on Sat or Sun the cheese burger & chips for £6.90 is lovely and a pretty decent portion. |
