Looks like a very exciting signing! If Janis comes back as well, these two will form a monster front court.

This bit was interesting from the Argus

"Coach Dave Titmuss now turns his attention to hiring a starting point guard, with five Americans currently on his short list."

Wasn't expecting that

Extremely promising IMO - Worthing Thunder signing a defensive specialist, who'd have ever thought! :laugh

For me the blocked shot is under-rated for its entertainment value - a good swat is just as fun to see as a good dunk and it sounds like Kadiri can do both! His scoring numbers were quite modest yet from what I could gather in the press release, they're looking to him to be a leading scorer? Depending on who else comes in (looks like it could be several new faces) I'd think letting him anchor the defense and clean up the boards would allow for the best production, rather than asking him to do everything. Anyway, on top of his game its nice to see he is a real community guy and likes to help others, sounds like a proper decent man which you don't always get in this sport!

Looks like we could at last have a specialist centre with a bit of muscle. Congrats Coach Titmus on potentially an excellent signing.

I am never phased by stats from the USA- they never get the court time there they will here.

If he lives up to his youtube he could be one of the best Worthing has seen since Herman and Kal Wells, being just half as good will do!!!

I see you guys are falling for it again YouTube 07-08, then he lost a leg and one eye in a fight with Nova Scotia man eating Cod.

But seriously looks good; rebounds all over the place, blocks, shoots, ducks and sinks the free throw!

Hi Kadiri

I think you are probably the first Thunder player ever to post on here pre season, indeed possibly any time of the season.

It's gonna be a great season; 4 Players signed already and Dave "Man on the Mic" Marshall, the best Commentator in the league and transport co-ordinator extraordinaire has the coach travel sorted for the Back Row's road trips.

REJECTED....... Yes that sounds real good.

Welcome to the Thunder board Kadiri.
Your pre-season sounds very positive and we're all looking forward to watching you show us what you've got in your locker this season. Know this, the drunk loud ones on the back row will be cheering with everything we've got.
When are you hoping to get over the pond to start getting ready for the season here?

Yeah this must be the first Thunder player and one of only a few BBL players to post on this site (at least under their own name). Reminds me of Wilbur Johnson, not posting but actually talking to fans and showing an interest, its good to see. As long as you don't let the away fans bait you K, this site is notorious for baiting but unlike any fan you can go out and let your game do the talking!

Hey all, after watching KD out in Nova Scotia and following him in the PBL, I can tell you that Kadiri is a straight up good dude and definitely makes it interesting on the court.

Just to break it down, he was one of the best shot blockers in all of the minor leagues, and is real strong on the offensive boards. He isn't super polished on offence but he can definitely contribute using his athleticism and quickness. He also has a bit of a midrange game too, if he is given the chance to use it. When you look at his PPG you also have to keep in mind that in both Halifax and Wilmington he played with the two top offensive big men in each league (Eric Crookshank and Cedric McGinnis). He selflessly committed to play tough D and do the little things. I have no idea what the level of play is like in the BBL, but KD can play an offensive role if that's what's needed. 12 - 15 PPG wouldn't have been out of the question in the PBL or ABA if he played in different situations. He is a heart and soul guy who puts the team first and he still keeps up with Rainmen fans in NS.

Shout out to KD from your Scotian brother!

Misenern....I am feeling what you are saying. Kadiri does what's in the best intrest of the team. Whatever role his coach needs for him to play he will play. But I do enjoy it when the coach cuts him loose a little and let him dominate. Everyone is going to be in for a treat when he starts beasting. I guarentee you there will be a lot of ewwwws and aaaahhhhhhssssss when he starts playing. Don't forget to vote on the other blog.

The reason he is the first player to post pre season is this is the first time we have had players signed pre-season!!!

Kadiri

From what we read and hear and you coming on here I am sure you are going to be a Thunder favourite. We have had a few in Worthing over the years and the best are those that link to the fans.

Welcome to Worthing, I really hope you enjoy being in England. :roflol2 :roflol2
