I actually didn't mind Warrington but can appreciate that most people preferred Northgate.
All in all it's been a rocky road,
Twists and turns along the way,
But, I still pray for tomorrow
All my hopes, my dreams
Don't fade away...

The Northgate is a lot more convenient for my dad; as it gives him more time in bed before the 4am commute to Luton. And I think that the atmosphere is a lot better at the Northgate too.
Go Jets!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys :wave We're hoping to manage down to the Northgate this season as it would appear one of your games with us is on a Saturday in November. If someone could confirm for me :thanks I can then look at booking some accomadation. In saying that, we don't even have a team yet :laugh but I'm sure that will sort itself out in time.

The jets have two home games on Sat instead of the usual Sun. Sat 14th Nov Jets v Rocks is one of them. This info has come through official Jets channels.

I can appreciate and understand the efforts of trying to expand our fan base using Warrington (added to the fact our main sponsor does have a depot there) but the crowd size must have been a factor in staying at the Northgate.

I assume the fact we have 2 Sat games this season has been done to accomodate all the other teams fixtures or have we come second in booking the Northgate? It should be interesting to see if it affects the crowd size but another plus factor (co-incidence I am sure) does mean that fans of visiting teams eg. the Rocks can get down here for a change as opposed to the awkward Sunday night.

Personally I would love to get to the Metro arena to see the Jets against Eagles but Fridays and that distance make it impossible.

Now that the fixtures are out, I said when Essex joined that I was happy that I would get to see more home games, Well I was wrong.
With Jets drawn awaty in both Cups/Throphy and the home v away rota means that I am only guaranteed 18 home games this season as opposed to over 20 last year, just means Jets will have to win a few cup matches. Does anyone know where the next round draws are displayed?

Hi Linda - hope you are enjoying the summer - looking forward to seeing you in November!

DJF - I think the next rounds will be announced on the BBL website - but if/when we get them I'll make sure they're put up on here.

According to the BBL site:
The first-round games in the BBL Cup will be played on or around the weekend of 18 / 19 October, with the pre-drawn fixture tree providing a draw as follows:

Quarter-Finals
Game 1 Winners v Newcastle Eagles
Game 2 Winners v Game 3 Winners
Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders v Game 4 Winners
Game 5 Winners v Everton Tigers

We are playing Rocks in Glasgow in game 1 so providing we beat them we play Eagles at Northgate

Go Jets!!!!
