Finally some great news for us Tigers with the return of one of the most important players from last years squad. Olu's attitude, work ethic and buzzer beating efforts will once again be on display at Fortress Greenbank. Olu showed everything he is about and capable of in the Championship Game whilst other players were bringing out the white flag him and Midge turned an embarrassing blowout into a nailbiting finish. Great news and welcome back Olu! BBL Site Sure it will be in the Echo soon too. |

Great news that Olu is back. On another point, has someone stolen your vest Mr Mayor? http://blogs.mirror.co.uk/basketball/2009/07/boris-johnson-not-built-for-ba.html |

Its a long story Katkins ... he insulted the people of Liverpool so I nicked his bike and now he really raises the stakes by nicking my vest ...

Good stuff in the Echo and nice to see JJ and the Midge discussions continuing. Looks like Tony is also busy in Vegas - hopefully he is going to bring in some exciting talent rather than place his entire playing budget on a spin of the roulette wheel ... Olu Back for the Tigers |

I think Smith is in Turkey and anyway I think the chances of him ever coming back and working with Garboletto are fairly remote. |

After some of the unkind things he wrote on facebook about our beloved league I don`t think he`d come back and I`m sure not too many of the coaches would take him and his ego on. |

Maybe Pat. If he returned I could start full scale mask and dummy production for all the other teams, could be very lucrative. Come back Andre!!! |

And that will always be something of a contentious decision but nobody will disagree that they were the top two players last year. And also the two biggest ego's Anyway Andre is a Tiger no more and Trey is an Eagle no more - big losses to both squads. The Newcastle Squad has been announced and the Tigers squad is about to be - going to be interesting to see if either team has as dominant a player this time round. Personally I think both teams will look a little more balanced with a range of players able to step up on any given night. Including (returning to the topic) Olu! |
