Rookie Posts: 69 Group: Member Member #5,326 Joined: November 28, 2007	I am gutted that Andre won't be coming back, especially given the circumstances in which he left, but where of course understandable given his personal situation. Marcus was one that I thought might give it another year but it was fairly clear Josh wasn't going to!! Just wanted to say thanks to all for their performances last season & good luck with the future. Good luck goes out to Tony and the team for finding players for next season oh and if he doesn't fancy Vegas, I have a couple of spare weeks coming up soon, could pop over and find some talent Would be good to see Olu James & Midge back. How long does this off season go on for????

Most supporters of other clubs dont have that much information about who has/hasnt signed for the new season even half way through September!!!! Is this the start of a new trend confirming who has left before they appear on a Latvian team rota !!!

Click the link Rumours currently reaching the Town Hall that Tony G has quite a few good potential imports identified in Vegas but a more interesting series of rumours concern potential raids on Newcastle - not just the Reggie Jackson story from their board. On the subject of Reggie if there is something in that rumour I think it would be a fantastic signing.

Starter Posts: 816 Group: Moderator Member #2,281 Joined: June 23, 2007	OK so no Midge or Moutinho but I did hear a rather nice rumour recently about another player begining with the letter M but I promised I wouldn't share as there were i's left to be dotted and t's waiting to be crossed - so my lips are (for now) sealed. If it comes off I will be made up. And gyan Midge looks nothing like Ossie but good effort and reminded me that I meant to do a programme piece trying to pull together a Tigers team from Everton FC first team players. I never got round to it but I certainly wouldn't have had Ossie running the point. I think I would have picked the following. Pat Jefferson and Bizarely Tim Howard (EFCs Goalkeeper)!!!! Wiki Tigers Also not sure how reliable eurobasket.net rosters are. I thought they were usually correct. But they show us as having only one current player - Olu. Where is Bang Bang? Also on gbbasketball.net Paul Nilson talks about an as yet unannounced Tigers signing who has played part of his career in Spain. Wonder who that is? No doubt Bada is sworn to secrecy!

Midge's retirement still looking likely and he doesn't think we will be getting Tap, Trey and Toney - but doesn't know for sure. I am not so sure that we will not be seeing at least one of the three - such is the strength of a particular rumour coming from one or two folk unconnected to the Tigers. Despite the lack of announcements I would find it hard to believe Tony hadn't got everything sorted before Eurobasket. I will try and speak with him at Eurobasket in Warsaw and see if I can extract any info.

This season completely the opposite but I would be starting to wonder who would be arriving, wonder, not worry as Tigers "found " Andre from somewhere. I wouldnt be surprised to see a full title challenging squad suddenly appear.
