So with selection Sunday coming up this weekend I was wondering whether or not that the website we've had the last few years that have shown all the games up until the Final Four is up and running again this year? And also are we running a competition on the brackets this year like we've done before on Yahoo I think it was? |

I'll set up a Yahoo! Bracket on Monday morning when the field of 65 is announced. I've lost a bit of interest this year, due to Georgetown's complete suck of a season. One of only 2 teams to beat UCONN, yet they lost to everyone else in the Big East, how did that happen exactly? |

The coverage of Championship week on NASN it truly awful this year. I should be sitting in a beer can strewn room watching wall-to-wall games. Instead, Lazy Town is on the telly

Excellent performances! Surely they won't have the legs to play against Louisville' press for 40 minutes though? |

Looks like Davidson won't be at this year's dance! Very disappointing for both Stephon Curry (for me a mid-to-late 1st round draft pick this year; could go as high as the top ten) and our own Andrew Lovedale in his senior year! To be fair though, they really should've won the Southern Conference. Chattanooga prevailed (the Wildcats didn't even make the division final!) and are almost certain to go out in the first round after being ranked 16th and paired with UConn. When you look at overall records, the inclusion of Chattanooga is even more frustrating. Davidson had an overall record of 26-7 and probably the toughest schedule in their division. Charleston, who beat D'son in the semi, had a 26-8 overall record. Chattanooga? 18-16 (Tennessee blew them out by 39, USC by 27). That's not much above .500. But they won the playoffs so they get their chance to be humiliated by the Huskies! |

Thats how it always is though, tournament winners get the auto bid, and Davidson only had one high profile win (vs WVU), their resume didn't stack up against the at-large contenders. Overall they just weren't as good as they were last year, which is a shame for Lovedale as he had by far his best season and I'm eager to see where he'll end up going pro. |

Niall that is top quality - not sure what made me laugh more the fighting barbers or the advanced school of Truckers ... Never done a bracket in my life but do have a feeling that Memphis will respond positively to being a Number two seed and will win - hey may as well be consistent in supporting the Tigers

To quote an earlier post of mine: "Chattanooga? 18-16 (Tennessee blew them out by 39, USC by 27). That's not much above .500. But they won the playoffs so they get their chance to be humiliated by the Huskies!" That particular humiliation was by 56 points, with UConn annihilating the Mocs 103-47. Heck UConn had 48 by half-time! ![]() Might it be worth them reviewing the automatic selections? Surely the teams with the better overall records should get the spot, not play-off winners (which can mean, as in Chattanooga's case, a lucky pair of one-off victories). Not saying Davidson would've beaten UConn, but it would've at least been a bit more competitive! Still, best of luck to Davidson in the NIT tournament. As for brackets, my final four would be Louisville, Duke, UNC and Memphis. |

I think winning your conference tournament is a good way of 'battle testing' the low and mid major conferences. I know Davidson had a better record, but if they can't even get through the SoCon tournament, what business do they have playing in the big dance? I just think people have payed more attention to Davidson because they have a high profile player (Andrew Lovedale) and also that other lad Stephen Curry

I have to agree with thirtythr33 about winning conference play-offs, afterall the big dance are one game contests, if you lose you are out. The Davidson non conference schedule did not bring them any wins against teams in the top 25 so failing to win their conference title they had little chance of making the NCAA Tourney. Anyway they are already out of the NIT, losing (80-68) in the second round to St John's, so I am not sure that they would have done any better than Chattanooga |

Yeah fair enough, looks like it's humble pie for lunch. Arizona is the only Cinderella left at the ball (12th seed) and they play top-seeded Louisville (many people's favourites) tomorrow. Some very interesting games tonight: EAST (1) Pittsburgh vs (4) Xavier (2) Duke vs (3) Villanova WEST (1) UCONN vs (5) Purdue (2) Memphis vs (3) Missouri |

UGH... I hate UConn. Purdue really should have tied this game, they missed layups, I go to get some food and UConn is up by 9.... Hopefully they get found guilty of all these recruiting violations and get sanctioned... that might shut Calhoun up for a while. Going to bed, hoping Purdue have pulled out a result when I check the scores in the morning. Those who don't need sleep should stay up for Memphis vs Mizzou, that has classic written all over it! |

this Syracuse game is brutal. 0/10 from 3, letting Oklahoma do everything they need to do to win. GOT to hit shots if we're going to stay in this, feels like a blowout that hasn't quite got blown out yet. |

Thrilling win for Villanova over top-seeded Pittsburgh last night! Uconn dispatched of the Mizz to book their ticket to Detroit. Today sees the conclusion of the Elite Eight, with the final two spots in the Final Four up for grabs: MIDWEST (1) Louisville vs (2) Michigan State SOUTH (1) North Carolina vs (2) Oklahoma. Should be fun to watch two of college ball's best players- Tyler Hansbrough and Blake Griffin- going at it in the South. |

would be easiest to go with the obvious and predict a unc-uconn final, but with home advantage and a great coach, i'm going michigan state-unc. unc to win it all, and get 3 guys picked in the draft vastly higher than they should've been... |
