Just seen both guys stats...very impressive. Great season by Joel and won't look out of place in an NBA roster. I think he should have one more season in Spain then take the jump. Playing at Eurobasket this year will only develop him more, and hopefully for the full benefit of GB.

As a side note Archibald was very impressive today. He looks fully fit (played significant minutes) and could be a massive boost for Poland in this form

If you'd watched the first game you wouldn't be saying that. He had a bit of a nightmare.

I also thought he didn't play very well for most of the first half in game 3; then suddenly stepped up and was very difficult to defend.

Freeland continues to improve.

Good move for Joel. I should think he should be getting a nice contract from Malaga as a reward for his play this season.
Champion.

Just a small article on Joel and the Blazers. Apparantly there were talks between him and the Blazers about going across this summer but he told them he wants at least another two years in Europe to improve his game.

Freeland was on fire last night in this friendly win over Dynamo Moscow.

Probably a career high, albeit in a friendly.

It's not about the 19 points! It's when and how he delivered them. 13 in the final quarter.

Quite a few of those 19 points came from jump shots by the sounds of things (including two 3s). Very encouraging!
