It's that time of year, where fans unite then subsequently divide after your LOCK pick like Syracuse or Kansas bounce in the first round. Once the first game start, we'll have the infamous "Thread in which we talk smack" where I'll probably end up bitching to myself again, but hey... it's all for fun (and bragging rights) Just follow this link: http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/...4515&P=whatsbev if your asked, the group id is 44515 and the password is whatsbev You can make your picks after Selection Sunday and closes tip-off time for the first game next Thursday. Also, to make things easier, use your whatsbev username for your bracket name. And for those who gots to know, we'll be using this scoring system # Round 1: 1 pt # Round 2: 2 pts # Round 3: 4 pts # Round 4: 8 pts # Round 5: 16 pts # Championship: 32 pts So you gots to go deep, thats where the money's at. |

You have to predict the outcome of every game played in the NCAA tournament. The person with the closest results to the actual outcome is the winner. |

I'm in. Just got to pick the infamous 5-12 game which is gonna go down this year. For those that don't know, and I explain this every year so you must be a noob, a number 12 seed has beaten a number 5 seed every year for the past God knows how long. Team's must hate being drawn as a 5 seed, cos history has got it in for you! I picked the right upset 2 years ago, but got the wrong one last year completely obliterating 2 of my brackets in the 1st round. I did pick 3 of the Final 4 though last year, but then blew it when Ohio State beat Georgetown. |

Ahh yes, 2005, Alabama screwed you by losing to UW-Milwaukee, and wasn't it Syracuse in 06? Last year was tame... |

I'm looking for a better performance this year. Last year I pretty much went for all the higher seeds, and whilst it meant I was leading at the start, it cost me later on. |

Which bloody 5-12 game do I go for? They all look like potential upsets! #5 Drake vs #12 W. Kentucky #5 Clemson vs #12 Villanova #5 Michigan State vs #12 Temple #5 Notre Dame vs #12 George Mason Michigan State look the weakest of those #5 teams with a poor end to the season, W. Kentucky are on a serious roll, we all know about George Mason's history and Villanova are a seriously good team that had a 9-9 reocrd in the Big East. I really am struggling to pick which one of those to go for... Just another snippet of advice for those doing this for the 1st time - NEVER in the history of the NCAA Tourney have all 4 #1 seeds made it to the Final 4, despite Clark Kellogg picking all 4 #1s every year, the closest we ever got to that was 1993, when 3 #1s and 1 #2 made it. BTW, why are our brackets still locked? Has anyone else been able to enter their selections?

I've gone against everything I've said all through the regular season and gone with... Tennessee Kansas Texas UCLA With UCLA beating Tennessee in the Championship game. However in another bracket, I've got UCLA beating USC in the Championship game, with UNC and Texas making the Final 4, so who knows? After all, the person who usually wins the Bracket Buster, is someone that has never watched a minute of College all season and guesses! Like my ex-GF a few years ago, who guessed all the teams based on 'How nice their team nicknames were' and picked the whole Final 4 and Championship game, to win the Challenge! |

Haha well I haven't had NASN so beyond a few bleary eyed and low-quality Sopcast streams and reading up on things, I shouldn't have a clue... I've gone for Louisville, Georgetown, Texas and Duke for my final four, with Georgetown beating Duke in the final. |
