I know it's early, but all the recruiting has been done and we need to get this forum up-and-running again. Looking at the rosters, who are you backing to make a big splash and go all the way?

Everyone knows I'm a big Hoyas fan, and I think they pulled off a massive coup when Roy Hibbert pulled his name out of the Draft and returned for his Senior year. At 7'2, with no Greg Oden or BWS Aaron Gray around to stop him and another year's experience under his belt, I expect him to dominate the NCAA this year and make himself a very high pick in next year's Draft. Yes, Georgetown are going to miss Jeff Green, but Vernon Macklin and Patrick Ewing Jr are a year older and should be able to fill the gap left by 'Mr Do-It-All'. With Guards Jonathon Wallace, Jessie Sapp and Jeremiah Rivers returning the Hoyas should be there or thereabouts again this year.

Team's to keep an eye on...
With Bill Walker back from a serious knee injury and Uber-Big Man Prospect Michael Beasley coming in, I expect Kansas State to be great fun to watch.
Indiana already had a decent team last year, adding the highly rating scoring machine Eric Gordon should make them another team to keep an eye on.

Haven't really followed the 'off-season' very closely, but you're right, it's hard not to see the Hoyas figuring in a big way.

I really can't see beyond UCLA or Kansas at the moment.

UCLA, Kansas - maybe Georgetown to do something: all good choices. Don't forget Mayo at USC. Maybe he can do a Melo.

Also, you want to watch out for Ohio State, not Ohio (had to point this out!). But don't think Ohio State will do much but may do okay in the Big Ten. Other than that I'm looking forward to the usual mid-major surprises and the over-hyped busts...

I really enjoyed college season last year after a number of years of absence - really missed it and realized it was so much better than BBL so I'm back for another season of NASN

Here are some links to kick (tip) off the season:

Hope this gives enough pre-season info.

My rank outsider team will be Louisville and Pitino (if he's still there) or any team he's coaching........ :party
