CALVIN DAVIS SIGNS FOR KEFLAVIK IN ICELAND Ex-Chester Jets star Calvin Davis has returned to his old haunting ground in the Icelandic Premier League. Davis was cut from the Jets roster last season after suffering from a reoccuring an knee injury. Davis, who had been a legend in his spell at the Jets from 2001, has been out of action since, but will return to play for Keflavik, the Icelandic League champions in 2006-07. Also, in other related news, US forward Damon Bailey who also played for the Chester Jets last season has completed his move to Thor Thorl in Iceland. |

ANTONIO HUDSON, ANTONIO GARCIA, AMIR ALI .. Antonio Hudson (193-G-83, college: LSU) will be new Polonia Warszawa addition. The 23-year-old guard was one of the key players of Louisiana State (NCAA) with 13 ppg and 3 rpg. He started his professional career in London Towers where he averaged 20 points per game and was top scorer in the English league. Ulriken Eagles have got Amir Ali (213-C-81, agency: Vision Sports Management, college: St.Peter's) to town and tomorrow will Edward Montrell (203-F-82, agency: Vision Sports Management, college: Greensboro) land in Bergen. Montrell has played college in USA and had his last season at Nottingham Knights in England. Ex-BBL star, Antonio Garcia (203-F/C-76, college: Ky Wesleyan) arrived last night to join Trouville, the last champion of the Uruguayan League. |
