I dont think the Lakers will repeat - that isnt just desire, I just don't feel it and in today's NBA, repeating seems impossible and hasn't happened since a much better Laker team did it 7 years ago (and even that was dodgy due to the migging vs the Kings in the conf.finals). I think David Lee can be an all star but he has to be on a good team. The Knicks are a joke (still) and should be banned from being allowed an all star until they smarten up a bit. Maybe Detroit could go after him as well? I don't know how much money they have to blow if they're already getting Charlie V and Ben Gordon, but I know they had more money this off-season than anyone else.
