Take a look at the list in the link and not only state which players you'd like to keep, but those you think could help your team. Boston: Glenn Davis: Would like to stay but if he's receives too big an offer, I doubt the Celtics will match it (and I would agree with that decision). Leon Powe: How unfortunate to get a serious injury just as his contract is expiring. Could be out a long time although I hope not as he's been a great spark plug for the C's. Hope he re-signs and is back sometime next season. (Given what the guy has been through, hope C's have enough to offer a league minimum, even if Powe out most of year). Eddie House: Announced he's picking up his option, so he's now staying. Happy with that as his shooting is key off the bench. Stephon Marbury: Undecided. Mikki Moore: Don't let the door hit you on the way out, fella! Players who could help make a difference: Ideally, I'd like to see a genuine big man in there to help spot both Garnett and Perkins, not some undersized forwards. In that respect, one of the following to use Boston's mid-level exception would be great. Rasheed Wallace - Has been a trouble maker in the past, but also a damn good player. He's hungry for a title and as a sixth man off the bench, would give Boston another dimension. Antonio McDyess - A player Boston have been after for a while and would be another good big man off the bench. Joe Smith - Someone Boston were after before they settled for Mikki Moore. Not as good as the above, but would still be an upgrade to the bench. There are a lot of star names out there, but unless they are willing to forgo a large salary to be on a contender, I can't see Boston willing to go much further over the salary cap. Players I think who could also help but who are very unlikely to come here would be Jason Kidd (instead of Stephon, but unlikely to accept lesser role), Mike Bibby, David Lee (Good player, bad team) and Orlando's Marcin Gortat (price will be too high as lot of teams chasing him).
