Sixth Man Posts: 484 Group: Member Member #448 Joined: August 7, 2006	The LMBL held its Finals day last Sunday (1/6/08) with London Cups (Men and Women) and Men's Plate up for grabs. In the Men's Cup, HCCA came from 21pts down to beat White Heat 96/87. This was HCCA's first Cup win in 6 attempts having lost in O/T last year and to White Heat back in 2005. Haringay Angels made it a perfect season winning the Women's Cup to add to their Premier League title unbeaten. Sources tell me thatAngels put in a below-par performance (by their standards) in beating Eastside Heat. In the Men's Premier League, ex-pat Aussie/Kiwi outfit Rocco's Raiders took the title for the first time going unbeaten 18/0, their only loss all season being in the Cup v Euston Power. HCCA finished runners-up (18/4) with National Founders Cup Winners Lithuanian BC in 3rd place 5 games back from Rocco's. 2006 Champs Camden Knights and Hoxton Heat were relegated to Div 1. I think age is catching up with them both!! Once again, thanks to the LMBL Committee (Roger Bacchus, Courtney Carter and John Leitizia) for all their hard work in running the biggest and best regional league in the UK.
