Sixth Man Posts: 484 Group: Member Member #448 Joined: August 7, 2006	The London Metropolitan Basketball League (LMBL....the largest Regional League in the UK) 2006/07 season is almost at an end with virtually all championship/relegation issue decided as follows: Men's Premier Champions....HCCA (3rd win in 4 years, this year unbeaten 16/0 with 2 matches remaining). Runner's-up look like being Lithuanian BC with Omega, Camden Knights, Westside and White Heat fighting to avoid relegation (2 teams drop down to Div 1) Men's Div 1....Champions Westminster Warriors. Also promoted former Middlesex League Champs Rocco's Raiders in their 1st year in the LMBL. Relegated Lambeth B and Alleyns Apaches. Men's Div 2.....Met Trident 2 Champions with Haringey Warriors also promoted. Women's Premier Champions.....Wandsworth Sting (unbeaten 18/0) with Haringey Angels finishing runner's-up. The LMBL Cup Finals and AGM take place at Hendon Police Centre on Sun 20/5. Line-up is as follows: Men's Cup Final......HCCA v MacPro Women's Cup Final.....Wandsworth Sting v Eastside Heat Men's Plate....Westminster Warriors v Met Trident 2.
