Hello All, Food grade PETE, HDPE, LDPE, FET/PTFE/Teflon, or polypropylene, like many oral syringes are made of, should be OK and have no extractables. Metals are OK but acetone will remove any grease, oil or pant on them. Most chemical bottles are glass, HDPE, or FET/PTFE and should be fine, although cap liners are sometimes polystyrene. Natural rubber, polycarbonate, acrylic, or polystyrene will all dissolve in acetone. Vinyl (like electrical tape) or the adhesive on labels will dissolve too. Look up a material compatibility chart on google for more. Thanks I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
