That card looks pretty good, but blindfold matches DO NOT belong a PPV, I'd argued they don't belong anywhere due to being so shitty. WTF is wrong with Russo?

I could go to this show if I wanted...

But I don't want to...

The booking for TNA has completely turned me off to their product. I wish they'd get someone in there that has a vision of how they can succeed...and that's by being different from WWE. I think if they kept it simple and just offered the best wrestling (in-ring product), they'd stand a better chance of competing. I'll agree that mainstream wrestling promotions like the WWE need the wild storylines...or at least those must be at least a small part of a mainstream promotion...but TNA isn't anywhere near that level.

Until they stop being WWE-lite, I won't watch...

Agreed 100 percent. Or to say the same thing you just did with considerably fewer words: TNA just plain sucks.

This would be a massive upgrade if it were true. They're not even that.

PRESHOW

Voodoo Kin Mafia (with Lance Hoyt) vs. Serotonin (with Christy Hemme and Martyr)

Hemme looks beyond hot. Kip James and Kaz started the match. Kip shoulderblocked kaz down. Kaz was nailed with a stunner. VKM worked over Kaz with BG nailing a dropkick for a two count. Havoc tried to get involved but was tossed into the cage. Not a lot of crowd reaction to the match, not even the cage shots. Havoc came back and drilled BG in the corner. Serotonin doubled up on BG who came back with a series of rights. He charged Kaz but was kicked in the face. Kaz scored a two count. Kaz missed a top rope legdrop. Kip makes the hot tag and cleans house on everyone. Kaz is tossed into the cage, with his head sticking in between the bars. Havoc avoids the Famouser but is caught with a pumphandle slam for the pin.

Your winners, Voodoo Kin Mafia!

PAY-PER-VIEW

Xcape Match: TNA X-Division champion Chris Sabin vs. Black Machismo (with Kevin Nash) vs. Shark Boy vs. Alex Shelley vs. Sonjay Dutt

It will be pinfall or submission eliminations until there are two competitors left, at which point, you have to escape the cage to win. Machismo came out and did the Megapowers handshake with Nash, who the announcers noted was at the St. Louis Cardinals game earlier today with Scott Steiner for a special presentation. They mentioned members of the Cardinals were in attendance. My guess is Lethal will win here to push him even harder.

They started with Sabin and Dutt wrestling. You can tag in and out. Dutt and Sabin webt back and forth until Sabin thumbed him in the eye. Dutt ducked several clothesline attempts and nailed a hurrancanrana. He armdragged Sabin over and cinched it in. Dutt nailed a really innovative sunset flip for a near gall. Dutt rolled through and DDT'd Sabin for a near fall. Good stuff early.

Sabin tried to superplex Dutt in but Shark Boy blind tagged in. Sabin nailed the move and Boy tried to sneak in a cover. Sharky drilled Sabin's head into his knee. Shelley tagged in. Shark Boy tried to lock in a submission but Shelley booted him in the face,. Sharky came back with a neckbreaker. Sharky drilled Shelley with chops. Shelley whipped him into the corner but Sharky kicked him and nailed a hurrancarana off the ropes. Sharky hit a missile dropkick for a two count.

Sabin got involved and they did some comedic spots where Shark Boy caused them to nail each other. It was good stuff, not campy. Sharky nailed a backbreaker over the knees on Shelley. He went for the Dead Sea Drop but Shelley prevented it and hit an inverted DDT. Savin hit a top rope legdrop and Shelley covered him. Shark Boy has been eliminated.

Lethal came off the ropes with a double sledgehammer on Shelley. The crowd was into it, chanting Black Machismo. Lethal nailed a dropkick for a two count. Shelley missed a charge in the corner. Lethal went to the top but Sabin grabbed his leg. Shelley nailed a jawbreaker off the top on Lethal. Sabin nailed Dutt and threw him into the cage. The crowd chanted "This is awesome". You could see TNA's crew egging them on.

Chris Sabin did the Garvin Stomp. Nice! Sabin and Shelley looked awesome double teaming Lethal. The crowd chanted for Shelley. They had miscommunication problems, leading to Dutt coming off the ropes with a bodypress. They came back with a double hiptoss and legdrop. The crowd chanted TNA. Shelley drilled Dutt in the corner. Lethal returned to the battle and elbowed his partner and peppered Shelley with punches. Sabin and Shelley worked over Lethal, hitting the Dream Sequence for a near fall. Good back and forth match with lots of good athletic stuff. This PPV is already better than any recent episode of Impact.

Dutt hit a springboard clothesline on Shelley. He slipped while hitting it. Dutt hit an enziguiri on Shelley, then a moonsault off the ropes for a two count. Shelley grabbed his leg. Sabin kicked him in the gut and Shelley drilled a stunner. Dutt locked on a camel clutch on Shelley while Lethal cinched in an abdominal stetch on Sabin. Sabin escaped then attacked Dutt.

Sabin and Shelley destroyed Lethal with a series of kicks to the face. Dutt attacked Sabin but was caught while attempting head scissors, pulled into the Cradleshock, nailed, and pinned. Dutt has been eliminated.

Lethal was beaten down, two on one, but came back with a running clothesline. He drilled the Lethal Combination on each of them. He went to the top and drilled Shelley with the flying elbow for the pin. Shelley has been eliminated.

You must now escape the Six Sides of Steel to win the match.

Sabin was dazed and Lethal kicked him in the jaw. Lethal began climbing the cage. Sabin followed. They battled as they made it to the top of the cage. They crossed over to the other side, racing down. They began chopping each other. Sabin kicked Lethal, who lost his footing and got his leg caught in the cage. Sabin dropped down for the win.

Your winner and still TNA X-Division champion, Chris Sabin.

Really fun match. They gave the guys time and they all tore it up. Shelley and Sabin could be the modern resurrection of the Midnight Express if TNA allowed it. They are that damn good. Lethal was super over and looked good, so who knows, maybe I am wrong about the gimmick. Time will tell. Dutt and Shark Boy put in good showings too. Really good match.

Robert Roode (with Ms. Brooks and Eric Young) vs. Petey Williams

Roode screamed at Young that he belonged to Roode and "his friend" couldn't save him tonight. He made Young sit at ringside. Roode entered the ring, where Williams went right after him, drilling Roode with a head scissors. Williams nailed a series of kicks in the corner. Williams tried to come off the ropes but slipped. Roode caught him and slammed him down with a variation of a gourdbuster. Nice save. Williams came back and tied Roode upside down, doing the "O' Canada" bit where he stands on Roode's groin. It got a big pop.

Williams charged but Roode tossed him up. Williams clotheslined himself on the top rope. Roode choked him against the ropes, talking trash at the same time. Roode slammed Williams into the corner and nailed a series of kicks. He stomped his boot in Williams' face. The crowd chanted for Petey. Roode tossed Williams into the corner and charged but Williams kicked him in the face. Williams came out of the corner but was nailed with a clothesline, taking a 360 bump.

The cameras kept showing a miserable Young watching from ringside. Roode continued to work over Williams and came off with a knee from the ropes for a two count. Roode hit a backdrop suplex for a two count. Roode went to the side chinlock. So far, it's a decent match. Williams fought his way to his feet before they were on the mat for any excessive length of time. Williams grabbed a crucifix into a sunset flip for a near fall.

Roode slammed Petey into the cage several times, then nailed a uranage for a near fall. Lots of near falls in this one. Roode calls for Brooks to grab something, She gets a hockey stick and tries to slide it in, but before he can have it, Young started yanking it. Brooks tried to pull Young off, so we had tug of war shenanigans for a moment. Young ended up with the stick.

Williams came back with some offense. Williams tried to float over but was caught. Roode hit a spinebuster for a two count. Williams called for the stick and Young after debating, gave it to him. Williams cleaned house on Roode with it several times before referee Earl Hebner took it away and tossed it out. Williams rolled up Roode for a near fall.

Williams sent Roode into the cage and called for the Canadian Destroyer. He went for the move but Roode was too strong for him and slammed Williams into the corner. He nailed the Perfectplex (called the Payoff) and scored the clean pinfall.

Your winner, Robert Roode!

This is probably the best match Roode has ever had in TNA. Nothing overly amazing but a solid heel showing for him. He's finding himself as a performer. Williams looked good as well. Another solid match.

Gail Kim vs. Jackie Moore

Call me crazy but I bet they have a hell of a match here. We'll see.

They started brawling on the entrance ramp. Kim hiptossed Jackie on the ramp, then sends her rolling down to the ring. They ring the bell while they are brawling around the commentators. Moore was whipped into the guard rail. Kim was tossed onto the announcers. Moore slammed her into the rail, then poured water over her head. Kim came back with a kick to the gut. They battled around the cage outside. Moore grabbed Socal Val and used her as a shield. Kim began chopping Moore, then tossed her into the cage.

Kim told them to close the door, allowing Moore to attack her with a forearm. Kim nailed headscissors and a dropkick on Moore. Kim looked to leave the cage but Moore grabbed her. She stomped Moore's hand. Moore nailed the Stun Gun on Kim. Moore nailed a German suplex on Kim.

Moore tried to escape the cage but Kim grabbed her and slammed her backwards into a corner. Moore choked Kim over the ropes, then flipper her into the ring. She scored a two count. Moore tried to climb up but was pulled down. Kim came off the middle rope with a sunset flip attempt. Moore grabbed the ropes but was pulled off.

Moore snapped Kim over by the hair and began drilling her with kicks. Kim tried to slam her but Moore escaped. They both hit the corner in the exchange and were down. Kim blocked a punch and nailed several forearms, then a clothesline. She slammed Moore, then came off the top with a missile dropkick. She covered Moore, who got her shoulder up at the last minute.

Kim began climbing out of the cage but Moore caught her. They battled in the open doorway with elbows. Kim pulled the door clothes, nailing Moore in the head. Kim teased leaving, then slammed it shut. She went to the top of the cage and dove off with a flying bodypress for the pin. She was a little high and nailed Moore only glancingly (it looked awesome in the replay as Kim connected to Moore's head), but the crowd loved it.

Your winner, Gail Kim!

A solid match. Some good brawling around ringside. Decent wrestling. A big highspot to close it. It was fine for what it was.

Senshi vs. Austin Starr with Bob Backlund as the special referee

Senshi and Starr muscled each other around the ring. Backlund forced them to separate in the corner. Starr locked on a headlock and again, Backlund separated them when they ended up in the ropes. Starr used that moment to take a shot at Senshi and began working him over. Senshi came off the ropes with a shoulderblock and a series of chops. Senshi nailed a corckscrew elbow for a near fall.

Senshi began working over Starr, following him from corner to corner, drilling him with chops. Backlund tried to stop him but Senshi kept pushing him off. Starr muscled Senshi up to the corner then jumped down, raking his back in the process. Starr nailed a back suplex. He drilled Senshi with the Pendulum elbow. He received a two count and complained to Backlund about the count.

Starr went for the crossface chickenwing but Senshi escaped and kicked Starr. Senshi went to the ropes but was caught and powerbombed down. Starr locked on a single leg crab. Senshi fought his way to the ropes and finally got there. Starr kicked Senshi in the face.

Senshi came back with a flying forearm, then hit a corkscrew kick. Senshi came off the ropes with a springboard kick, then went back with a series of rights. Starr was backdropped into the cage door, then nailed with a rolling heel kick. Ki began drilling him with chest kicks. Starr grabbed him by the legs, snapped him into the cage door, then slammed him backwards.

Senshi missed a charge in the corner. Starr hit a running dropkick into the corner. He covered Senshi but put hit feet on the ropes. Backlund saw it and wouldn't allow it. They argued. Senshi recovered and hit a running dropkick to the chest. Senshi went to the top for the Warrior's Way but Starr knocked Backlund into the corner. Senshi crashed into the ring. Starr hit a 450 splash but Senshi kicked up. The crowd loved that and chanted "This is awesome."

Backlund and Starr argued. Backlund teased fighting Starr. Senshi rolled up Starr and did the Backlund Bridge, covering him for the pin. Starr screamed into the camera that he started a war and he didn't know what crazy was.

Your winner, Senshi!

Another solid match with some fun offense. I'd love to see these guys get 20 minutes without the Backlund aspect but there was nothing wrong with this match at all. The crowd loved the false finish with the 450 splash as they thought that was it.

James Storm vs. Chris Harris: Blindfold Match

If any gimmick was going to detract from a match tonight, this is going to be it. Thus far, TNA is having a series of solid to strong matches so hopefully this won't be the end of that streak.

The crowd is chanting "Fire Russo" before they even start. They were feeling their way around the ring. Storm almost nailed the referee Rudy Charles. They almost backed up into each other but missed the other. They finally came near each other and missed punches, with both landing on the mat. The crowd is getting restless, chanting, "We want wrestling."

Harris feels his way to Storm and goes for a single leg takedown, but Storm scrambled away. The momentum of the show is slowing down. Harris starts pointing in different directions to get the crowd involved and asking them where he should go. The crowd chanted "Boring." This isn't getting over live.

Storm slams Harris and goes for an elbow, but Harris had gotten out of the way. Storm's hood came off and he saw where Harris was before putting it back on. Storm drilled Harris with a move for a two count but Harris kicked up. The blindfold gimmick is dying live. They should call an audible, tear the masks off and start brawling.

Storm began climbing the cage (while blind??) but Harris caught him with the fans' help and followed him up the cage. OK, this is totally contrived. Harris nailed Storm and the hood came off. Harris speared him off the ropes. The crowd booed the hood being put back on Storm.

Chris Harris tried to lock a Sharpshooter on the referee. Storm took his hood off, superkicked Harris and pinned him.

Your winner, James Storm

Terrible. The gimmick died live and what should have been a brutal grudge match was instead two guys stumbling around. The streak of solid matches stopped here. These guys deserved better.

Christopher Daniels vs. Jerry Lynn

Lynn and Daniels began brawling as soon as Daniels entered the cage. Daniels tossed Lynn into the cage, but he blocked it and went right after Daniels. Daniels cut him off but Lynn turned the tide and hit a backbreaker. Lynn used headscissors to yank Daniels out of the ring, then dropkicked him into the cage. Daniels came back to snap Lynn's neck across the ropes. Daniels slammed him into the cage and peppered him with punches.

Daniels began raking the face and eyes of Lynn. He clotheslined Lynn and went after Lynn's shoulder, which was genius given Lynn's history of shoulder problems. He torqued Lynn's neck but Lynn fought his way back to his feet. Lynn made a comeback but Daniels cut him off with a leg lariat.

Daniels tossed Lynn into the cage. He yanked a cable off one of the cameras and began strangling Lynn with it. He hit a back suplex on Lynn. He moonsaulted Lynn for a two count. So far it's OK.

Daniels locked on an abdominal stretch. Lynn came back and tossed Daniels over the ropes into the cage. Lynn peppered him with punches in the corner, then snapped a headscissors off the ropes for a two count. Lynn ducked a clothesline attempt and hit a DDT for a two count. Daniels backdropped Lynn into the cage.

Daniels hit a STO for a two count. He dragged Lynn up by his hair but Lynn began firing back with punches. Lynn went for the cradle piledriver but Daniels escaped and hit an uranage. He went for the best Moonsault Ever but Lynn rolled out of the way.

Lynn hit a TKO as fans began chanting "Fallen Angel". Daniels kicked up at two. Match is OK but doesn't seem to be clicking to the next level. They battled in the corner. Daniels slammed Lynn's head backwards into the cage several times, then hit the STO off the top rope. Crowd loved that move, chanting TNA. Lynn got the shoulder up, which surprised the fans. They chanted This is awesome.

Lynn hit the Kryptonite Krunch but Daniels kicked up. Lynn charges Daniels but Daniels gets his boot up. They battle in the corner above the ropes.. Daniels teases Angel's Wings off the top rope but Lynn holds onto the cage. Lynn tries to go for the cradle piledriver, but Daniels nails him with a lowblow. Lynn falls into the ring. Daniels nails him with Last Rites and scores the pin.

Your winner, Christopher Daniels!

A solid match that seemed designed more to get Daniels' heel persona over than to have a blowaway match. I think they established it's a different Daniels now.

NWA Tag Team champions LAX (with Konnan) vs. Team 3D: Electrified Cage Match

Team 3D came out with all three sets of Tag Team championships they have held in the past. LAX came out without Konnan. Homicide and Hernandez look like the real deal. They really are some of the best characters TNA has created in the last few years. Jeremy Borash did the ring introductions. The crowd reactions made it feel like a big time deal. TNA needs to get more PPVs on the road for sure. They locked the cage and officially electrified it, complete with flickering lights. They lowered the house lights to make it look totally different from the rest of the show.

Team 3D jumped LAX and they started brawling in the corner. They whipped Hernandez into Homicide in the corner, then had Ray splash them both. Ray hit a huge overhead suplex on Homicide. They suplexed Hernandez into the door, which they said wasn't electrified.

Homicide tried to push Ray's head into the cage. Ray came back to slam him. 32D went for the wazzup headbutt but was slammed off by Hernandez. Hernandez kicked Devon in the face. Homicide tried to force Ray's hand onto the cage but Ray bit Homicide's forearm to escape. Hernandez brandished a chain and worked over Devon, busting him open huge. Homicide's hand touched the cage for a moment and he jumped away, shaking it off.

Ray got the chain and began working over LAX. Homicide kicked Ray with an enziguiri. Homicide tried to drill Devon's head into the ring. LAX double-teamed Devon. Devon is bleeding bigtime. LAX double backdropped Ray. They continued to work over Devon. Hernandez is also bleeding.

Homcide and Hernandez went to the ropes but were stopped by 3D. They hit superplexes into the ring. All four men were down. It's been OK but slowly paced so far so they must have a big finish in mind. The crowd is 50/50, with some not into it and others clapping.

Devon hit a running clothesline off the ropes on Homicide. Devon headbutt him then nailed a powerslam. Konnan was rolled to ringside in his wheelchair by "a member of the Latino Nation", who then nailed the referee outside. Hector Guerrero left the spanish announce table and nailed the LAX member. He shoved Konnan back into his wheelchair with a steel chair. Guerrero unlocked the cage door and Ray told him, "Get me the f***ing table." That was a little contrived but whatever. A table was slid into the ring. Hernandez began screaming at Guerrero, who slammed the cage door into his head. Guerrero's involvement came out of nowhere.

Homicide nailed a neckbreaker on Devon for a two count. Ray nailed a full nelson sit down slam for a two count. Hernandez slammed Ray for a two count. Hernandez slammed Devon. Homicide came off the ropes with an elbow for a two count. Ray grabbed Homicide and drilled him with a running powerbomb for another near fall. The crowd isn't as into this as you would think.

Hernandez hit the Border Toss into the cage on Devon. The lights flickered and you heard electric voltage and that was it. The crowd booed it, I guess because they were expecting an explosion and began chanting, loudly, "Fire Russo."

Homicide charged Bubba in the corner and went to the ropes but Ray caught him on his shoulder. Devon hit the Doomsday Device but Homicide kicked up at two. Hernandez laid out 3D and set up a table in the center of the ring. Hernandez put Devon on the table and put on heavy gloves. He began climbing the cage door to the top. The crowd booed a little but changed their tune when Hernandez hit a dive from the top of the cage through a table. Devon moved so there was no water in the pool.

Homicide hit head scissors on Ray. Devon sent Homicide into the cage. Same flickering and sound effects. Homicide sold it bigtime. He fell down into 3D with the idea they would hit 3D on the way down. It didn't happen correctly. They nailed Homicide with it a second time and scored the pin,

Your winners and new NWA Tag Team champions, Team 3D!

After all the talk of violence, the crowd seemed really let down by the lack of explosions. They were doing all they could but it never clicked like this all out brutal, evil brawl. I also thought the involvement of Hector Guerrero was forced and came out of nowhere.

OK, so 3D finally win the belts and TNA goes right to the back for the interview? What the hell was the point then? They feud for months for the belts and then we pull away immediately? Bad move in my opinion. Title changes, especially ones climaxing a feud, need to be treated special

Lethal Lockdown: Team Angle (Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe & Rhino & Jeff Jarrett & Sting) vs. Team Cage (NWA champion Christian Cage & Scott Steiner & Tomko & Abyss & AJ Styles) - Winner of the Fall Earns a NWA title shot

They announced Harley Race would be the keeper of the cage's keys. That's a pretty nice surprise.

AJ Styles was the first man out for Team Cage. The first man out for Team Angle was Kurt Angle. Angle was wearing a Cardinals jersey under his outfit. Five minutes of Styles vs. Angle for the first period. Styles evaded an Angle takedown and talked a lot of trash. Angle caught him on the mat and worked him over with a headlock. Angle ducked a clothesline and shoulderblocked Styles down, with Styles taking a monster bump. Angle worked over Styles. Styles came back and choked Angle in the corner, then locked on a side chinlock. Angle finally came back with a back suplex. Both men were down as the five minute period ended.

Abyss, with Jim Mitchell, came to the ring, giving Team Cage a 2-1 advantage.

Abyss and Angle battled in the center of the ring. Abyss grabbed him and nailed Shock Treatment. Harley Race and Jim Mitchell got into it jawing at ringside. Abyss worked over Angle in the corner while Styles rested and watched. They continued to beat down Angle as the period ended.

Rhino entered the ring, evening the odds.

Rhino charged in and went right after Styles and Abyss. He shoulderblocked Abyss in the corner, then suplexed Styles and Abyss. He called for the Gore but was caught by the throat. Abyss went for a chokeslam, but Rhino evaded it and nailed a shoulderblock off the ropes. Rhino catapulted Styles into the cage. Angle and Rhino hit a double shoulderblock on Abyss. Angle kicked at Abyss while Rhino choked Styles against the ropes.

Tomko entered the ring, giving Team Cage a 3-2 advantage.

Tomko hit a big boot to Rhino's face, then went after Angle. He nailed a running over the shoulder slam on Angle. Styles was busted open, although I don't know from what. Rhino was busted open as well. Team Cage all worked over Angle and Rhino.

Samoa Joe entered the ring for Team Angle.

Joe went after everyone on Team Cage. He hit an inverted atomic drop on Abyss, clotheslined him and hit the back splash. Joe drilled Tomko with a back elbow then a flying knee off the corner. Styles attacked Joe and charged him in the corner but Joe caught him with an uranage. He picked up Styles and hit the Muscle Buster. Angle began hitting a series of back suplexes on Tomko. All six brawled.

The period ended, with Scott Steiner entering, setting up tea, Cage with a 4-3 advantage.

Steiner and Angle went right after each other. Steiner clotheslined him over and then began picking apart the other members of Angle's team. Steiner hit a Frankensteiner on Rhino off the top rope, the first time in years he pulled that out. Crowd popped huge for that. Team Cage and Team Angle brawled. It's an entertaining spectacle thus far.

Sting was out next to even things up, so Jeff Jarrett gets the big climactic entrance.

Sting hits the cage and cleans house. He hits the Stinger Splash on Steiner, then hits one on Tomko and Steiner. He crotches Steiner on the ropes and yanks the ropes. Samoa Joe and AJ Styles battle on the cage. The others join suit and they hit a tower of doom stacked suplex off the cage. The place went nuts for that. Sting locks on the Scorpion Deathlock on Steiner, but Tomko nails him.

NWA champion Christian Cage comes out to complete Team Cage.

Cage comes to the ring and goes after Angle but Rhino goes after him. Sting gets Cage and backdropped him. Sting no sells the chops and begins cleaning house on Cage. He hits the Stinger Splash in the corner. Sting locks the Scorpion Deathlock on Cage in the middle of the ring. Everyone continued to battle as we counted down to Jeff Jarrett's grand entrance.

Jeff Jarrett's guitar fell apart when his pyro went off. Jarrett hit the ring and began dropkicking Tomko. Styles went to kick Jarrett, who ducked and nailed the Stroke. The ceiling with weapons lowered.

All 10 began brawling in the center of the ring. Jarrett tried to grab a weapon but was pulled down. Cage tried to same and failed. Jarrett grabs a bat and tosses it to Sting. He tosses Rhino a trash can. He tosses a night stick to Joe. He grabs a trash can lid and jumped into the ring, nailing Abyss. Jarrett began destroying Steiner with a trash can lid.

They all brawled with weapons. Styles tried to drill Angle with a bat, but Angle caught it, gave him the finger and hit a back suplex. He went for another but was kicked low. Styles climbed to the ceiling and went to the roof of the cage. Angle followed him and they battled on the roof.

Mitchell handed Abyss two bags of thumbtacks. Harley Race punched Mitchell for getting involved. Joe and Tomko battled atop the ropes. Tomko tossed Joe into the ring. Rhino gored Tomko out the cage door to the floor. That was sick looking.

On top of the cage, Styles drilled Angle with a chair. Rhino was tossed out of the cage by Steiner, who then slammed Rhino into the ringside table. Joe hit a dive out of the ring to the floor on Tomko. Steiner hit him with the NWA title.

Abyss spread the tacks in the center of the ring. He tried to chokeslam Jarrett and Sting into them but they kicked him low. They grabbed Cage and hit a double chokeslam onto the tacks. Abyss hit the Black Hole Slam on Jarrett.

Angle and AJ battled on the corner of the cage roof. Angle nailed Styles, who took a bump off the cage ot the floor, landing in the arms of everyone who was fighting on the floor. Great main event.

Inside the ring. Abyss filled a guitar full of thumbtacks and motioned to Jarrett as if they were in cahoots. Sting and Abyss battled. Jarrett grabbed the guitar, and Sting turned around. He told Sting to move and then nailed Abyss with the guitar. He told Sting to make the cover and Sting did, pinning Abyss and earning the NWA title shot.

Your winners, Team Angle!

After the match, Jarrett offered his hand to Sting, who after some hesitation, shook his hand. Joe and Jarrett then shook hands. Angle was pissed about not getting the pinfall and walked off leaving his team in the ring.

Quite the spectacle for the main event. I enjoyed it for what it was. The show overall was a mixed bag with some good undercard matches, a fun main event, and some gimmicks that didn't pan out.

^ True... but with the exception of the Blind Fold match (which was an obvious dud going in), this event reads like a solid event, something most TNA events haven't done.

That cage is really shitty looking.

And Brother Ray just loudly said "give me the fucking table". I remember when TNA through a shit fit when Ken Shamrock dropped the F bomb on PPV.

We got it for free....Apparently we ordered enough ppv's this year that they gave this to us free.

This was the shittiest thing I've seen. The electrified cage match was bullshit....that was almost as bad as the sound effects used when Hall zapped Goldberg with that cattle prod in WCW.

The main event was shit, Jarrett should not be a main eventer....

And to give Sting the win over Samoa Joe....total shit.

TNA honestly reminds me of OLD WCW....nothing producing....just stale rivalries, 2nd hand old talent elevated over hot young talent....and using big stipulations to make up for lack luster writing, booking and talent. I'm honestly just waiting for the Shockmaster to come crashing through a wall....

Ha, I saw bits of that electrified cage match through a stream, and it looked really cheesy. I mean Chamber of Horrors cheesy.

Still though, that was nice of your cable/satellite place to give it to you for free. I've got the shittiest cable known to man, so they won't give a damn thing for free. They recently got WWE 24/7 On Demand, but of course On Demand isn't available in my area despite being available five minutes up the road. Bullshit, doesn't stop them from charging $95 for my package though.

Bastards.

And yeah, letting Sting win over Joe was just stupid. Once again, fuck TNA.

Yeah, Stinger. If you stick to strictly a text-based format, this event was gangbusters. However, God help you if you watch it because it will rape your eyes.

"with the exception of the Blind Fold match (which was an obvious dud going in), this event reads like a solid event, something most TNA events haven't done." - Stinger

Yeah, Stinger. If you stick to strictly a text-based format, this event was gangbusters. However, God help you if you watch it because it will rape your eyes.

Amen.

Oh, btw, welcome! :)

Well make no mistake about it, this certainly won't be an event that gets added to the DVD collection, that's for damn sure.

Say what you want about WWE, but at least their wrestlers tell a story in the ring....there is sort of a palpable emotion with most of their feuds.

TNA....honestly feels like they have invested nothing into the characters, nothing into the storylines, and nothing in the matches. It's almost like they are booking on the fly EVERYTIME.

I mean, it's like for instance, You feel like Edge is about to snap at any second because he can't beat Cena...you know what I mean?

Where as in TNA....we have the AMW feuding....they apparently hate eaach other to no end....but you can't feel it....you can't see it in their feud, their wrestling....

Pretty hard to show emotion in a blindfold match...that might be the stupidest fucking gimmick match ever created. It takes out every single thing I like about pro-wrestling...

I completely agree, though...

I read an article recently that talked about who the real person to blame is for the TNA booking issues, and how it wasn't Russo...Rather, it's Jeff Jarrett...

Jeff Jarrett is the VKM of TNA. Everything goes thru him and Russo writes the show according to what Jarrett wants...

So really, it's just more of the same old Jarrett crap if you choose to believe that above story...

Makes sense.

Contrary to the myth we hear once in a while: It's obvious to my eyes, at least, that most of these guys are lacking the passion that Snowman was referring to. Blindfolding is DOA for the reasons Chad just spelled out.

Simply put: If I'm wrestling in TNA and I know anything about what a good product is supposed to be, my head and morale are down and I'm slipping through to get my paycheck and getting out as fast as I can. No more. No less.

TNA is a wasteland. Let's look at the talent in the last Main Event.

Angle: Has lost his mind, his body is beat up, and he needs to take time off....otherwise he is going to wind up wheel chair bound like Dynamite Kid.

Christian: Not a main eventer, sloppy, and very overrated.

Steiner: Broken down, over blown, sloppy, half assed.

Tomko: Shit....this guy will never be anything.

Rhyno: Decent, but let's face it, he will never be what he was.

Jarrett: Should never have been a main eventer to begin with....controls everything in TNA, and in turn keeps himself in the spotlight.

Sting: Not what he used to be and his character now is just lost. Time to hang em up

AJ Styles: WASTED TALENT

Samoa Joe: WASTED TALENT

Abyss: Nothing but a mix of mankind and kane rip off....

Yes. He's in imminent and dire jeopardy as far as I'm concerned. I'm sad to say this, but if I'm going about my business one day and I see a story about him suddenly dropping dead or going paralyzed somewhere it will be ZERO surprise and shock whatsoever.

Clearly he has a suicide/deathwish. And yes, he's lost his mind. Very sad.

Decent tag teamer and midcarder. Face it: He was being used in WWE to about the best he was ever going to be. If he were back, I'd have him right back on SD as a decent midcard heel.

Suckdom of the lowest order. Worthless.

See above comments.

SD or most likely, I'd send him to ECW (duh) to be a midcard heel. He can be used. He's still got something left.

Yes. Now that being said: He's another decent midcarder, probably yet another heel.

This just plain makes me sad. The Stinger was and is someone I have a lot of respect for but I just feel like he's whoring himself out and wasting his time peddling for these fools. He deserves better. He's come from WORLDS better...WTF is he thinking?

Time to retire with some dignity. Why not come over to WWE to have a retirement blowoff match with Flair? A dual retirement match so both can go out in a blaze of dignity?

I'd take these guys and Daniels into WWE tomorrow. I might them all on ECW with Punk, RVD, and Sabu. Suddenly you'd have a wrestling show that I simply would never miss.

A decent big man. He's better than Khali in spades. I'd consider a bit of repackaging to a much less rip off gimmick of sorts and you can pretty much him where you need another big man, probably a monster heel of sorts. I'm again thinking SD or ECW.

I'm a big fan of Christian's...but other than the comments about him, I agree about TNA as a whole, particularly Angle...which is quite sad...

What? Do you really think and believe Christian is some kind of main eventer or something? Good luck arguing that one. ;)

You disagree with the Christian comments so that's what I'm guessing...
