Posted Image Posted Image In a dream match made by WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon himself, SmackDown's World Heavyweight Champion Batista will team with Undertaker to take on the Raw duo of WWE Champion John Cena and HBK. At No Way Out, the duos of Cena & HBK, and Batista & Undertaker will be teammates, but at WrestleMania 23, they will be anything but as they battle each other on sports-entertainment's biggest stage. Posted Image In the ongoing rivalry between MNM and The Hardys, Joey Mercury & Johnny Nitro have continuously blamed Matt & Jeff Hardy for the injury Mercury sustained at Armageddon in a Ladder Match. At No Way Out, MNM will team with MVP to take on the team of The Hardys and United States Champion Chris Benoit in another chapter to this epic war. Will Benoit assist The Hardys as the look to put MNM behind them, or can MVP and MNM continue to torment them? Posted Image Proving truth to the old adage that the squeaky wheel gets the grease, Deuce & Domino have secured a match for the WWE Tag Team Championship at No Way Out. After two weeks of successfully defeating WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London & Brian Kendrick in non-title action, the newcomers to the SmackDown tag scene were appalled that a title match would take place at No Way Out without their participation. The disappointed duo then made it a point to have the match killed. But Deuce & Domino didn’t go to SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long to have the match stopped. Instead, the impressive team took their complaint straight to WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Conn. After listening to their complaint, WWE officials ruled in favor of Deuce & Domino, naming them the rightful No. 1 contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championship. As a result, the Ladder Match pitting London & Kendrick vs. MNM vs. The Hardys vs. William Regal & Dave Taylor has been removed from the No Way Out pay-per-view. Posted Image ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley has taken on all challengers since he won the title. At No Way Out, he will face his latest cocky challenger, Mr. Kennedy. The SmackDown loudmouth has claims to defeating some of the biggest and best in sports-entertainment, but he's never faced anyone with as much momentum as Lashley has right now. Can Lashley add another victim to his list and defend the ECW name in the process? Or, will Kennedy finally get over the hump and claim ECW gold? Posted Image After Kane "rudely" interrupted the ceremony in which King Booker was to be presented with the key to the city of Houston, the royal ruler demanded an apology. Instead of enforcing the King's wishes, Theodore Long arranged for a one-on-one match at No Way Out. Will the former ruler of the SmackDown kingdom get revenge on the Big Red Monster? Or, will Kane vanquish the evil monarch again? Posted Image By order of SmackDown General Manager, No Way Out will host the first-ever interpromotional Diva Talent Invitational. The competition is open to Divas of all three brands, and will feature the many skills and talents of the Sexiest Women on Television. Will Jillian showcase her melodic vocal chords? Will Kristal show off her assets? Will the Extreme Expose make its way to No Way Out? Which Diva will impress the crowd and steal the show? Posted Image Gregory Helms is the longest reigning champion in all of sports-entertainment. The cocky Cruiserweight Champion has held the title since Royal Rumble '06, and has defeating each and every challenger along the way. At No Way Out, he will face his toughest challenge to date as he defends in the Cruiserweight Open. Can Helms overcome another challenge to remain king of the cruiserweight mountain? Or will one of the eager challengers do the unthinkable and claim the gold? Posted Image In recent weeks, Finlay and his Little Bastard have been stalked by Boogeyman. Little Bastard was repeatedly dragged under the ring by Boogeyman, which ended up costing Finlay an opportunity at the United States Championship. When Finlay and Boogeyman finally met in one-on-one action, The Fighting Irishman ended the long undefeated streak of Boogeyman, stealing a victory by using the shillelagh, after Little Bastard distracted the referee. To counter that interference, Boogeyman has enlisted the help of Little Boogeyman in this budding rivalry, and at No Way Out, a Mixed Tag Team Match will have Boogeyman & Little Boogeyman taking on Finlay & Little Bastard.

Either that, or do you three way Kennedy Batista and Taker and then move on from there to the big Batista-Taker showdown at Mania? |

Well, WWE booking 101 would suggest they wouldn't do that. They seem to like keeping their Mania headliners out of competition against each other (unless it's a tag match). I wouldn't rule out Booker getting into a title match of some sort... |

I like the main-event somewhat, but this is the second straight Smackdown pay-per-view that has featured a tag team match as the main-event and also featured RAW's John Cena. Michaels/Undertaker and Batista/Kennedy (Gimmicked) would have been a much better way to go. |

Well, the rest of the NWO card looks like it's going this way: Finlay vs. The Boogeyman, Joey Mercury vs. Matt Hardy, Booker T vs. Kane, and some sort of match involving Mr. Kennedy (maybe againts Benoit or Chavo). |

I gotta side with Q on this one. I highly doubt we'll see a full move to the Blue Brand for The Showstopper. |

So what are we looking at now? Cena/HBK vs. Batista/Taker- sounds good... Booker vs. Kane- sounds good... 4-Team Ladder match- sounds great... Boogey vs. Finlay- sounds shitty... Diva Competition- sounds even more shitty Benoit and MVP have been working house show matches against each other lately...I'd pencil that in for the US belt... Helms defending the CW title... It, like every SD PPV, will have it's crap, but all in all it looks like a solid event... |

How about a 6 man over the top rope battle royal for the title. |

Honestly they just need to scrap the cruiser title, or move it to ECW. Smackdown does nothing with it, and honestly, having 3 titles on a show is more than enough. |

Honestly, they may as well have an undisputed championship and one set of titles instead of two or three, regardless of whether or not the brands are seperate...and a bunch of other things we all know make too much sense and won't happen. |

Because I felt like it. :) Snowman started down the "what if" road, I decided to finish the trek. ;) The CW belt needs serious help, though. No doubt about it. The CW situation frankly, is a disgrace outright. In fact, ECW is the perfect outlet for the CW's. Send every single one of them over and take a cue from TNA's X-divison. Whatever. Just give the thing a set of balls and some real respect and let it run. As is, they're just killing it. It's almost utterly dead now, at least in the WWE. It barely has a pulse. |

Going further down the 'what if' road... why not combine the SD! tag titles with CW belt, bringing back the cruiserweight tag team championships. Think about it... half the SD roster would be after it. |

^^Sorry to disagree with ya Crim, but that division in WCW was junk, and adding that instead of a standard tag title would not work well. |

Indeed the WCW lead division was junk, but that was WCW. Im sure you'll agree that the WWE creative team is leagues better then Russo and the gang. I'd personally like to see a trial run so to speak in ECW... it couldn't hurt. |

To be fair though, WCW's CW Tag Team titles were only around for a week before WCW was bought and closed down. And the teams they had, were mostly pretty damn good. If Bischoff could've kept the television slot, I think WCW would've been good again, in large part due to the rebuilding/importance of the CW division they were building. |

Well, so much for another awesome ladder match... WWE has removed it from the card. In its place, London/Kendrick will defend the WWE Tag Team Championship against Deuce and Domino in a traditional tag team match. |
