Was completely sober when I watched it. It's a fun little show, so long as you don't try and take it serious as "wrestling". You can watch the full episode at WSX.MTV.com |

^^ LOL. I cant view it because Im outside the US. You know us crazy Canadian commies, there's no telling what we might do after watching a second rate wrestling show. MTV is right to restrict us. |

Actually, it's in your country's best interest to restrict MTV, or better yet: Ban it outright as a capital offense. ;) |

An insider from MTV is claiming that the decision has been made by the network, to cancel the Wrestling Society X series, according to Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com. The move is believed to have been made earlier today, and was done due to the drop in ratings since its first week. It is unknown if the six remaining episodes will air on MTV or not. Scherer adds that it's already been stated that the series will be pulled immediately. Though apparently pulled by MTV, Big Vision Entertainment retains the rights to the promotion, so it is possible that WSX could move the series to a different network or release DVDs, if they decide to continue. As this news comes from a source from MTV, it is important to remember that at this moment, the network has not made any public indications that WSX is indeed canceled. The series is still listed on the MTV website to air this Tuesday at 10:30PM (Eastern), while clips of WSXtra are still posted as well. I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!

Haha, you mean Snowman. That's twice this morning you've made that mistake
:) That sucks. WSX wasn't earth shattering wrestling, but it was an entertaining 30 minutes. All the reports indicated that it had caught the attention of WWE management and was a good part of the reason McMahon wanted to fix ECW. The more competition McMahon has, the better. I suppose now WWE can sign Teddy Hart and get the ball rolling on that New Hart Foundation stable. I just hope this doesn't kill their want to sign Mexican and Japanese talents to rebuild the CW division and "recapture the magic of Nitro". |

WSX is now gone.... So, Vince needs to now rechristen Smackdown as WCW and change the name to Friday Night Nitro....... Have WWE's show be Raw..... And ECW be given a darker edgier, even more hardcore feel than it has now....... THEN, Vince needs to only concentrate on Raw..... And have Shane run ECW.... And turn Nitro over to HHH...... Let them run all (3) companies seperate of each other and compete against each other in ratings and PPV Buys...... Then after a given amount of time, say 1-2 Years, whoever ran their company best is given control of all (3) Brands and the other two would be forced to retire! PS: I predict Shane would win! :ph43r: |

^^I was with you up until the Triple H part.... Triple H in charge at this point in his life would be terrible. Considering all 3 are family members, I don't see them being in real life competition.... Vince McMahon will run the WWE til the day he dies....it's what he knows. Shane is actually interested in expanding into the MMA world. Anyways, YES, Vince needs competition....but this wasn't competition, this was total and complete shit. TNA is the only legit competition, but unfortunatly, they have idiots behind the wheel, poor show quality, and a stupid ass ring..... Ring of Honor has better wrestling than all of them, however they have no money, no production value.....no set in concrete roster |

I wouldn't go that far. Like Stinger said a few posts above, WSX was a good part of the reason Vince wanted to make ECW better. I truely belive that ECW would have been better if WSX had run on for a few more months. |

^^I don't believe that....I think Vince was pissed because the ECW had become utter-crap. He has put a lot of money into the show, and ratings were sliding.... |
