Just to give you guys a heads up....Cinemax will be playing every star wars movie in order starting Sat. November 11. They will continue to play them in a marathon of sorts for the next couple of days. Even though I own them all, I might be a vegetable that day! |

I might be too, and I also own all of them. Though I'll probably skip EP I, I just don't like it at all. |

Well, while there are certain things about the movie I dislike....it's bound to not be as good as the rest...all it is doing is setting the wheels in motion. Pro's: -AWESOME saber fight between Maul and Obi-Wan -The pod race although long, was ground breaking at the time. -The average fan gets the info they need to understand the force, who trained Obi-Wan, and how things went from very good to really bad in the galaxy. Con's: -Darth Maul very lightly used -Slow parts in the movie -too cartoonish -Jar Jar |

ok so after watching episode 1, I got very frustrated with the no explanation of why Qui Gon was burned and didnt vanish....so i looked it up and this is what I could gather, tell me if it's wrong. -As of Episode 1, a Jedi's body was burned when they died. Qui-Gon, after he was burned and joined the living force, learned the path to communicating with the living. He then taught it to Yoda and Obi-Wan (Ep. 3) during the time when Darth was beginning to rule the galaxy, and Luke and Leyah were growing up. Obi-Wan, now knowing the path to immortality, was able to dissappear before he died....as did Yoda. Annakin, being created soley by the force, already had that ability born into him. Does that sound correct? |
