It certainly is telling when even you can't come up with a lineup less repetitive than this. They need to maybe cheat and have some ECW and maybe some RAW crossover. Have some Survior Series fallout. |

I'll boo my ass off if they pawn off some shit card. Sandman didn't drop all that money on tickets for those assholes to feed us a heavy dose of "The Boogeyman" and "Montel Vontavious Porter." |

HERE YOU GO CAV AND SAND.....HERE IS YOUR MAIN EVENT (chuckles softly).... The final decision was recently made for Batista & John Cena vs. King Booker & Finlay to be the main event for Armageddon. The`PPV takes place on December 17 in Richmond, VA. However, you do get Undertaker vs. Kennedy in a Last Ride Match and Kane vs MVP in a Inferno Match. |

That's not main event worthy at all. The second part is more of a main event with Taker and Kennedy by far. |

It's main event worthy for a single brand pay-per-view.... I actually don't mind any of those, eventhough MVP sucks ass. Undertaker/Kennedy works for me.... Kane/MVp doesn't in and of itself, but I'll be able to say that I saw an Inferno Match in person. Eventhough I'm sure it won't be like Kane/Taker in the original back in 1998, it'll still be cool to see an Inferno Match. And Batista and Cena teaming up isn't bad. I'd rather see that match than ANOTHER Batista/Booker rematch.... Add another Benoit/Chavo match, and I'll be okay as long as I don't have to watch Kurt Angle vs. Santa Claus (I'm looking at you Snow).... |

I think the card sounds pretty good...Who knows about the booking of the actual PPV? (After last Sunday, I've temporarily lost my confidence in the WWE's ability to book a good PPV) MVP vs. Kane should be entertaining. Ditto for the Last Ride match. Cena and Batista vs. Booker and Finlay > Booker vs. Batista at Survivor Series...Unfortunately, the match screams "SD main-event"...not PPV main-event... Add Benoit vs. Chavo, London and Kendrick vs. Regal and Taylor, and a CW title match...and this actually could be a damn good show... |

The last two matches to probably be announced is going to be Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Gregory Helms for the cruiserweight title, and Regal and Taylor vs. Kendrick and London for the tag team titles. Overall this looks to be as solid a card for a Smackdown PPV as it was for No Way Out...If I hadn't ordered Survivor Series I would probably order this one |

I don't blame y'all for dropping money on the ECW show...when ECW first came back, I think we all had our high hopes....and when we heard they were getting their own PPV months back, again, high hopes..... As for Armageddon, the card does look solid from what's been announced (five matches with the main event tag, Taker/Kennedy, MVP/Kane, Benoit/Chavo and Helms/Yang). Add the tag title match you guys are saying should happen (I'm not up on SmackDown! current events, other than I know Batista is champ and Benoit's feuding with Chavo), and Sand and I could have a good show to watch from the third row. |

You guys should end up getting your money's worth...I won't watch it, but I'll download it.... Give us an old fashioned Cav-Sand detailed report. Haven't seen much writing in these parts from either of you in ages (for good season)...Love to see you both get active again...It's therapeutic, me thinks... |

Same. I've been just too dissapointed by WWE PPVs as of late to buy this. |

The inferno match was ok...but then again, what can you do when the ring is on fire?! It was was it was....but that's always a sight to see. AND NOW A FATAL FOUR-WAY LADDER MATCH!@?!?!>! Vince you are making up for D2D in my opinion..... OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! Joey mercury's face just exploded!!!! im gonna throw up!!!! JESUS CHRIST THAT WAS GROSS! For those who aren't watching....Jeff Hardy jumped on one side of a downed ladder and catapulted into the face of MNM...Mercury didn't cover up and had the ladder smash his face!!!! I think he's gonna need surgery, screws......etc OH MY GOD THAT WAS NASTY! |

Well, how was the rest of it? I heard there was a bad surprise (Diva matcH), an average at best main-event, and that the show peaked far too early with the tag ladder match... I still want to see the Last Ride match... |

-Inferno Match: Average-Good -Tag Match: Great -Benoit/Chavo: Good -Helms/Yang: Average -Boogeyman/Miz: Terrible -Undertaker/Kennedy: Good -Diva Segment: Average (Big Dick Johnson saved the day) -Main Event: Average WWE.com is reporting that Joey Mercury will most likely need at least plastic surgery after being hit in the face by a ladder in Sunday's exciting ladder match. Mercury was busted open on his nose and was bleeding profusely in what WWE.com is saying is a broken nose and his eye was swollen shut. At this time Mercury is at the hospital where he is undergoing a CATscan to determine if he has any brain injuries after being hit in the head with the ladder. It doesnt look likely at this time that he has any brain damage as he was lucid and aware backstage. If Mercury does not have any brain injuries he will likely need plastic surgery on his face to fix his nose, and the multiple contusions on his face which would at this time take him out around 2 or 3 months. We will continue to follow this story and have more on it when it becomes available. |
